We went when it was at the other place and it was good. It’s been awhile ,so we tried it here at the new place. And sorry to say but my husband and myself were disappointed. I guess we thought it was going to be like the last time. I don’t know if they have new cooks but it wasn’t that good. The brisket didn’t have any taste and was so dry. I was in the area and wanted to give this place a try. Overall my meal was ok and was a good value. They were out of macaroni cheese during my visit so I got the beans instead. Again not bad and the pudding was good but on the smaller side. The service was the true highlight of the visit as the stopped by frequently to check on things. Worth a go if in the area.
We drove five hours and came here to eat. We didn’t come to San Antonio for this place but for another purpose. They were highly recommended! The service was unbelievable. Everyone was so kind and everyone was so attentive to us. The food is really good!
