Let me preface this review by saying I understand this is a small business…however, at an ice cream store, you literally have one job: make sure the ice cream doesn’t melt. For two years in a row, I’ve showed up to pick up my ice cream cake for my son’s birthday and it’s been melted. I’ve been offered a generic ice cream cake as a replacement, both times…and this time I was offered a 50 percent refund. I’m writing this review to warn other customers- order your cake for pick up a day in advance…this way there will be time to reorder if needed. Super disappointed.

Came into the store on Sunday. First of all, the store was filthy. The floor was dirty, so much so that you could tell the floor had not been mopped in quite some time. I have never seen the store like that before. One of the freezers was also leaking water all over the floor. There were no cones in the display case as normal It was totally empty. I thought that was strange..Placed my order and the young man told me they were out of nuts??!!! I asked for extra fudge and he makes the sundae but did not add the fudge. I had to remind him that I asked for extra... There were three young men working there and obviously they did not want to be there. Very disappointing.

I could have written the font better at home. They used black on black so the lettering was very difficult to read. The cake looks like it was prepped the previous day so the black bars were running into the white icing which looked like water paint. The cake looks messy and I'm unhappy. I don't recommend using this location if you need a cake decorating or writing. I've used the Bandera location and my last experience was flawless on Bandera. (Bandera is temporary closed)

Whatever female they had working August 19- close to closing needs to re evaluate her customer service. I called approx 8-9p to call in a small order for pickup. As Im trying to speak the order I couldn't help but to get "is that all" every two seconds- the service was soo bad that everyone in the car had to convince me not to pick up the order to prevent me from having to rip her a new one. Nevertheless, we went downtown to get ice cream at Mr. Ice Cream. The customer service was great, the prices, and the environment. Whoever that was working- please find her a job to do cleaning the bathroom or picking up trash in the parking lot since her current position there seems to be too much for her. Inservice her on how to she needs to speak with customer. In the meantime give her a mop and a broom to go along with her trashy attitude.

If I could give a Negative rating I would. The store RUINED my son's 18th birthday. Then they refused to fix the problem (pink frosting when it should have been white) or refund my money. Their excuse was that I changed the order to increase size of the cake 2 hours after I placed the initial order. When I clearly told the person taking the change that I was changing nothing else but the size.---And was the "I'm in charge [Millie]! I'm the owner's daughter," so VERY rude about it all. NEVER AGAIN will I give them my business! My son specifically asked for this ice cream cake to celebrate his 18th birthday. Now, it'll be the fiasco that we will always remember.

Great store with great staff. From the owner to the managers and the people on the line everyone was pleasant and helpful. I made a large order that didn't have much room for error and they certainly did not drop the ball. To continue the analogy they are obviously a well coached team that marched down the field for an easy touchdown. Much appreciated from one food business to another.
They saw me and my pregnant girlfriend heading over there, and they rushed to the door to lock it 30 minutes before closing

Great service... nice owner and son......very clean store...easy in and out of parking lot....prices have gone up since our last BR visit elsewhere, but its everywhere. The chicken n waffle ice cream he suggested tasted so not what i thought it would...its super deeeeeeelish.
