Made a trip prior to it closing due to Covid and cannot rave enough about the service and food. It is the absolute best.

We had the barbecue which give two meats and a side. The pork ribs were good, meaty, and the sausage was OK, tasty but not overly smoked. the beef seemed dry and uninteresting. Served on a paper covered tray. Coleslaw was good, mac and cheese filling but sort of gooey. Very informal, and if it were not raining we would have eaten on patio outside, more appropriate.

After looking online for some good BBQ, we decided to try B&D's. You order outside at the window, which works since most of the seating is outside. They have a wide variety of beers, or for non-alcoholic, jugs of sweet and non-sweet tea and lemonade. We tried the brisket, ribs, chopped beef and sausage. The sauce is sweet with a mild bite. Although we liked all of the meats, the ribs and sausage were our favorites. The cook (maybe owner?) came by to check on our meal. Staff was small, but very friendly. Hard to say if it's the best BBQ I've ever had, but it was very good. I'd go back there if I find myself in San Antonio again.

Brisket was dry. Turkey was good and Mac and cheese was good. Small restaurant with decent service. Not the best you can get around here.

The brisket was extremely dry. The bbq sauce made it edible. The ribs were ok at best- very salty. Very disappointed!

We stopped on a recommendation of our bus driver. By far, the BEST BBQ we have ever had. Food arrived within a few minutes of ordering. Staff were amazing. Josh have us a tour of the smokehouse. It was our favorite restaurant of our trip.

Brisket is below average. Setup is quicker. I.e ketchup in packets.

I had the chopped barbecue sandwich and it's was so good. I also ordered a side of the green chili mac and cheese and it was amazing, just the right amount of spice.

Green chile Mac n cheese was great so was the Bruno sandwich the big red baby back ribs were ok as far as ribs go but nothing impressive lacked any flavor other tank smoke
