Definitely not the experience that I expect from Bill Miller's. The staff are lackadaisical at best, and it's very apparent that this attitude is picked up from their management.
The food was not fresh, and the employees could not be bothered to be of any help, whether in regard to missing items at the side/condiment bar, or the lack of fresh sides (I had seen them serve the very bottom of the barrel of the sides without any offer for waiting until a new batch was made).
When someone from our group approached the manager for further assistance in addressing these food and service issues, they were met with the very same attitude that was present in the rest of the staff. Overall a very disappointing experience, and not one that you would expect from this restaurant chain.

Horrible service, workers don’t care about there job, no service at all. Asked for green beans at 5:30pm and they “ran out” with no option of making more. Asked for bread - took my husband about 4 times asking but it wasn’t busy workers were just talking to each other. My kids asked for to go for chicken and they kept giving us salad containers. Hello the foil was right there! How does a 2 chicken pieces fit in that?? To top it off there was absolutely no smiles and you can tell one even wanted to go there.

I stopped by here and had the Bill Miller's breakfast plate (see pic). It comes with either sausage or bacon, refried beans, hash browns, scrambled eggs and tortillas. Not bad for $6.95 plus tax. And for a little extra, you can get this plate with brisket. The food was tasty and hot but I only give Bill Miller's barbecue four stars because compared to other barbecue places, it just doesn't rise to the level of five star barbecue. Everyone here is super nice and the place was kept clean.

I've had nothing but good experiences here, love their chop sandwich, and their breakfast tacos. Though their tacos could be assembled a little better. Usually have to break up the ball of egg or potato myself, but it's not inconvenient enough to give anything below a 4 star. Other than that small thing, the quality of food and beverages is 5 star for a fast-food BBQ restaurant.

Was a 50 year #1 producing era for the Whataburger Chicago buy out... It's little Billy Miller!!!! They've REMAINED SAN ANTONIOS BRAND OF QUICK FAST WELL VALUED AND SUPER diverse menus! Way to go Billy!!!!!! P. S. that carne guisada....... Ummm 🧐 it's as good 💯😊 or better than any Mexican 🌮🌯🌯🌮🥒 restaurant in SAN ANTONIO TEXAS;)....... I RECOMMEND SERVING A PLATE FOR 8.00 TO 10.
