The food was absolutely amazing! Honestly some of the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had. Sai and Mangu took great care of our large group; they were attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel effortless. The prices are excellent for both the quality and the generous portions.
I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere only because the building is older and could use a bit of updating, but everything else was fantastic. I’d definitely come back

I discovered Indian food a few years ago and realized I had been wasting my life prior to this. Biryani pot was the Indian food restaurant closest to me, and how fortunate that was. And now, after trying various places in and out of town, I see that Biryani pot is the best, hands down.
Huge menu, filled with all kinds of wonderful dishes. I might eventually try them all, but I have my favorites. Methi chicken curry, cheese kulcha and sweet paan are my most ordered items. Even when I have accidentally ordered the wrong thing (there is more than one dumpling, for instance), I eat it anyway, and it's fabulous.
There's a reason they send out tray after tray of catering every weekend. There's a reason I drive for 25 minutes each way sometimes to eat here. It's the best. The staff know me by name, which is great too. My new best restaurant in town since I first discovered it.

Very limited seating, cramped with no waiting area for pick-up orders. They have definitely outgrown their current space. Parking is also inadequate.
i wanted to like this place. food was alright, but it was pretty expensive. i also got sick immediately after eating.
Such a great place. Ordered the chicken 65 biryani which is my favorite here. Portions are large so brought some home to enjoy

Biryani Pot San Antonio absolutely deserves 5 stars. The food was amazing the biryani was flavorful, aromatic, and perfectly cooked, just like everyone talks about online. The curries had rich taste, good spice levels, and generous portions. You can tell they put real effort into their flavors.
The staff was friendly and service was quick even though the place was busy. The restaurant feels warm and welcoming, and their social media posts match the vibe always sharing specials and keeping customers excited.
If you’re craving authentic Indian food, this is one of the best spots in San Antonio. I’ll definitely be going back.
