It's like any Asian place you go to. You're there for the food. This place delivers and the spiciness to me is in itself a sauna, but I don't care it's so good.
Majestic chicken is a must get dish. Be prepared for the heat and the flavor bomb!
House special goat is amazing too.

Been here many many many times and this was my first time having a thali with goat. It was a lot of food for $16. I only ate the side dish and packed the goat biryani to go.
The side dishes were dahl, chicken in gravy, and tandoori chicken. Sorry didn't get the name but it was awesome.

I would eat here every day if I could. Indian is my favorite kind of food. I love everything about it, and this is the best in town- one of the best I’ve tried actually, and I’ve tried it all across the country. The perfect meal? Ask for water, a coke on ice, and a lassi. Then, get multiple orders of garlic naan per person (we do 3 per person but we are insane lol) and chili chicken with slices of lime on the side(or lemon). For your entree, get the chicken vindaloo (lamb if they have it is preferred though but either are a ten) with the basmati rice. Get it at a 4 spicy level. Enjoy eating the best meal in the literal world. You’re welcome

I initially gave this a 1 star about 4 years ago. It's only fair I give it the props they deserve. Since then, they've massively improved in all metrics and I cannot deny them a five star. The Chicken 65 Biryani is the best Indian dish I have had in San Antonio, coming from someone from an Indian household. Their chai is incredibly flavorful, and the atmosphere always makes it a great spot to stop by with friends. Excellent food. Good prices. Incredible food spot!

We were here during MLK vacation. We ordered pomfret tikka fry, paneer tikka masala, butter naan and chicken biryani; everything mild spice. Food was delicious. My kids loved pomfret fry.

The food was absolutely amazing! Honestly some of the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had. Sai and Mangu took great care of our large group; they were attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel effortless. The prices are excellent for both the quality and the generous portions.

I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere only because the building is older and could use a bit of updating, but everything else was fantastic. I’d definitely come back

I discovered Indian food a few years ago and realized I had been wasting my life prior to this. Biryani pot was the Indian food restaurant closest to me, and how fortunate that was. And now, after trying various places in and out of town, I see that Biryani pot is the best, hands down.

Huge menu, filled with all kinds of wonderful dishes. I might eventually try them all, but I have my favorites. Methi chicken curry, cheese kulcha and sweet paan are my most ordered items. Even when I have accidentally ordered the wrong thing (there is more than one dumpling, for instance), I eat it anyway, and it's fabulous.

There's a reason they send out tray after tray of catering every weekend. There's a reason I drive for 25 minutes each way sometimes to eat here. It's the best. The staff know me by name, which is great too. My new best restaurant in town since I first discovered it.
