The food and atmosphere were both fabulous. Our waiter was amazing. Our table had various food choices and they were all great. I had a salad and then steak frites as an entree. I highly recommend making a reservation

Our family came together for dinner on a chilly January night during Restaurant Week to celebrate our daughter’d acceptance into her first choice college. Our waiter, Brian, provided exceptional service during our entire experience, and I cannot recommend him more highly. Aside from the outstanding assistance from the whole team, the food was fantastic. There was a special prix fixe menu for restaurant week and I indulged. I opened with Crispy Duck Wings a L'Orange, opted for a Pork Shank Dijonnaise as my entree, and a Crème Brûlée for dessert. All were outstanding. Everyone else greatly enjoyed their selections and we left, our full tummies helping to keep us warm as we made our way to our cars.

This is my first 1 star... I had the worse experience in this place. I love animals, so I make sure that I dont want to eat animals nor their secretions explaining to the waitress that I only eat plants. Even after doble checking with him, he served me a split pea soup, and at the first spoon I end up chewing flesh from a pig... very annoying and sad experience. I dont know if they do it on purpose, but as a vegan this is extremely cruel... after that I could not be able to enjoy my meals, thinking it might have breast milk from cows or another animal product. These type of places should start switching to a more healthy, cruelty-free plant based meals... and reducing or even avoiding serving animals.

Unfortunately my friend and I did not like the food that was served at all BUT our server John and the ambiance was easily 5/5 stars.
Maybe we went wrong with restaurant week menu but the food shouldn't be bad if they're trying to gain coverage. We went on a Tuesday evening. First of all, the restaurant menu changed from what was posted online.
I got the halibut cheeks and according to John, they were one of the best things on the menu with the consistency like scallops. When I got the two halibut cheeks the presentation was beautiful. However, it was like fish cakes with crumbling fish, room temperature. My partner got escargot, which was average but not special. She said they lacked seasini despite being filled with a pesto -esk sauce.
I ordered the hanger steak with fries as my main course and came out with seven small pieces that were way under medium well and burned to a crisp on the outside *see pictures* an overwhelming peppercorn sauce all over everything dominated any meat taste. The fries were good, in all fairness. My friend wanted the advertised restaurant week lamb chops but it was removed from the menu replaced with a curried lamb shank, which was easily the highlight of the evening.
Both my partners desserts and mine were pretty bad misses. First of all, they brought out the wrong dessert, a lemon tarte, for my dining partner and then when they brought out the chocolate mousse. It was more like chocolate frosting. There was no air in it and it was not fluffy in the least. It was dense and thick. We asked the server about it and he apologized. My peach cobbler was cold and had two peach halves, some syrup and a baked crumble on top. No effort to cut the peaches or warm up! There was no effort to even cut up the peaches which left me highly confused. The peach was hard not raw but not cooked. Needed a knife. It was the most bizarre dining experience I had in a long time.

2 orders of Escargot, 2 orders of French onion soup…
Food: 1 out of 5. Escargot lacks 100% of flavors from fresh parsley, garlic and butter. Shells are pre-used/ escargot kits sold online.
French Onion Soup - lacks aromatic flavors from herbs and the bread was too thick and absorbed 70% all the soup. The cheese lacked flavors of Gruyère and the beautiful torched crust.
We also ordered salads and carbonara, which were below average in comparison with other fine dining French or Italian restaurants.
Service: 4 out of 5. Nothing extraordinary, just met the industry standards. Although the wait time for another pour of wine or ordering of more dishes were rather unimpressive.
Atmosphere: quite interesting division of ambience, perhaps for the clear delineation of statuses and socioeconomic classes. One side for those dressed as successfuly wealthy retirees, the other side for the rest.
All in all, as a prospective future Michelin inspector and professional food critic, I generously offer a 2 out of 5 for this not-so-French, yet aspire-to-be-French restaurant.

This was a solid experience. Cocktails were excellent but my Manhattan was half filled in comparison to my girlfriend's martini. We shared the steak frites. Very good, steak portion was slightly small but this may be an adjustment from my recent relocation from NY. Escargot were solid, bread was exceptional as was the massive creme brulee. Overall a solid date nite and great to be walking distance local! Heather who was filling in behind the bar was a pleasure!

Just had a Mothers Day Brunch. Food was outstanding, service likewise and surroundings first rate. Every dish was excellent and.some outstanding ( crab avocado salad, salmon Benedict, chocolate Napoleon ). We’ve been here several times for dinner and have always enjoyed it, but this was extra good.

What happened? This is our go-to place for a nice evening but the food has been horrible the last two visits. I hope you all figure this out.
