The food was incredible! Service was good, and the atmosphere was clean and pleasant. I came in a little after 8AM with a large group and we were all very happy with our food. The biscuits are HUGE! I ordered the 2 eggs and bacon plate and was very impressed with ALL that food for $12! I can't wait to go back.
Kid-friendliness: The kids pancake was BEARy CUTE!

Sorry! Google goofed up before I could finish the review! I only have stopped by for curbside pickup. I had the Banana Cream Pie, which was delicious. I think that the most impressive thing is what they give you just for signing up to their club. I can't wait to use the offer!

This is, bar none, the best Black Bear Diner in the San Antonio area! It is close to as good as store #1 in Shasta. The kitchen is always up to Black Bear standards and the front end is great!! We are very blessed to have this here now, and that the high quality did not fade after it was brand new.

Service was really nice and food was good. It's not a huge chicken fried steak but tasty, they did skim on the gravy, but a definite return though

First and last visit due to the Lukewarm food.
My family and I sat near the kitchen which was great however, when Lucy served us our food it was not hot.
Our food had to of been sitting out below the expo line for quite some time.
After I paid the cashier, I brought the cash tip over to the table and I noticed that the expeditor was slowly placing knives on plates and prepping ramekins with syrup. There were about 5 -6 plates on the counter below the expo line. Which is definitely the reason why our food was lukewarm. There wasn’t any management present to speak with to inform them about the cold food.
Serve the food on the plate and place it in the oven for a hot flash. The expo line and wait staff need to have a sense of urgency to get the hot food to the customers a lot quicker.

They were out of a lot of stuff and everything was mid as hell. They hid a whole ass broccoli in the mashed potatoes and we got carrots instead of green beans. Goofy ahh Thanksgiving 2/10

I decided to take my family to the diner off 151 for breakfast. We were a party of four. Although parking was a challenge due to the volume of people at the restaurant. However, the hostess Yosi set us at a table, which I requested a booth I guess Yosi was bothered by my request and “rolled her eyes.” I was quite appalled by her reaction. Upon observing her reaction we reluctantly decided to remain seated at the table. Our server, Nate, was attentive and did an excellent job. The food tasted great, but the pancakes and bacon were amazing. My only recommendation would be to inquire whether the guests prefer to be seated at a booth or table. Don’t assume everyone wants a table . Overall, I give the service and food 4 stars. I give Yosi one star.

Went in for a late dinner shortly after 8pm on a Sunday night. After being sat, it took over 20 minutes for us to be greeted by the server- all of them were too busy talking amongst themselves at the bar top and doing (what I assume to be) closing duties. This became a reoccurring problem throughout our dinner, we would ask for something, she disappear, continue doing miscellaneous tasks at the bar area, and then finally remember to bring whatever it was that we asked for.
Our food took a little over 25 minutes to come out, which was odd considering they were dead at the time- but ultimately we really enjoyed the food.
Just wished the service didn’t suck- waiting nearly an hour from walking in the doors until we get our food is ridiculous, especially since it was nearly empty in there.

This is the best diner ever!!! I had the bob’s burger which was recommended to me by my server Angelique and it was delicious! Aside from the amazing food they also had the best service ever. Angelique recommended us drinks and food, and took time out of her day to make us feel welcome and talk to us! She is the best server I have ever had and because of her I will be coming back. They also have the best oranges ever and Angelique went out of her way to get me extra oranges! She’s awesome!
