We ate there, tonight. It was our first time, and will certainly be our last time. They sat us at a booth. There were french fries and a fork laying at our feet. When I brought it to the attention of the hostess, she said, "Do you want me to clean it?" When I told her that it shouldn't even be a question, she replied, "Well, it's not my area!" I asked to speak with a manager. A lady emerged from the kitchen, and when I told her about the food and fork, she just scoffed and went back inside. It was weird. Later, a super sloppy guy came out of the kitchen, and I started praying, "Lord, don't let that guy be the one who touched our food!" Despite all the Alpine decorations, the place is really filthy, and the whole place appears to be incredibly poorly managed. I'd stay away for health reasons. By the way, there will probably be some "bot" response to this saying, " Quality is our utmost goal....." If they meant it, they would have followed through a couple of years ago.

This place always has great food and super service! Love their California Benedict. In Texas, it's difficult to find restaurants that aren't focused on Mexican food, so I appreciate all the great choices.

No matter what kind of potato side I get, theyre always hard. Like theyre not cooked all the way. Everything else is amazing!!!!

I asked for no tomatoes and recived my meal with tomatoes. They took back my plate and they just took the tomatoes off and gave me the same sandwich again.

We had dinner the night before with Lina being our server, she was definitely awesome we came in after 9pm and she was great at taking care of my sister and I. Recommended the meatloaf to my sister and I had to have the chicken fried steak so we shared and it was delicious. We joined the club and received free breakfast offer and just had to go back the next day. Next day Angelina was a very attentive server
The biscuits were soft and fluffy and the sweet cream pancakes were delicious

Lina is absolutely the best server. I come every time and ask for her she never fells on service. Also the banana pudding is absolutely delicious

Service was terrible, we were sat at a dirty sticky table. The server than took more than 10 minutes to come get our drink order, followed by another 15 minute wait to take our order. My order came with a salad which came with the wrong salad dressing. Not a big deal but it took ten more minutes to flag down waitress to get a correct salad. The new salad came with moldy tomatoes. I was done, management did not do anything to make it right. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE GO THERE, TERRIBLE SERVICE FOR MEDIOCRE FOOD.

I love it!! I had a California omelette with bacon added in and my Mom had the Shasta scramble. Everything was delicious. The portions were huge!! We had to have two to go containers. The service was so great as well. We will definately be back....SOON!!

Compared to Black Bear Diner in Colorado Springs Colorado, the food is bland. There seems to be a big lack of flavor here in San Antonio locations.
