What a nice establishment! They have a ton of beer options and some wine. They have a large selection of games that people can play or buy. They even have a theatre where the so movies or improv shows. Parking is in the gravel lot across the street for first timers like us who were confused where to park. My wife and I enjoy the visit and will definitely be back.

Black potion is alwahs super fun! It's a great place to chill, lots of board game options and great items available to purchase. The theatre in the back is cool too, they host regular improv comedy shows and other great events.

BVOCAL4LOCAL... So one of my friends found this place- I owe them a GREAT BIG THANKS! This is a great place to gather for playing games, talking, enjoying the vibe or a show. Several of us went around 1230pm. On a Thursday. We were the only ones there. I understand in the evenings its standing room only at times. They have the largest beer selection I have ever seen! Ever. Snacks, t-shirts and gifts as well. The young man working, Tez, guessing on the spelling, was very kind and helpful. Its always nice when people seem to enjoy their job, he made us feel very welcome. Now keep in mind, judging from the music, we might not have been their demographic audience. Except for me probably, I spent my youth in underground clubs. He gave me the full tour which I will share with you. There is something in every corner. Long overstuffed seating areas, private meeting rooms (for rent I believe), a little stage that presents their comedy nights (seats about 60) complete with sound/ light booth and a merch area. Each private room has large flat screens (perfect for presentations). Different size rooms for different occasions. The main room has multiple tables. There is a wall of games if you like. They have a large snack selection but you can also bring in food- great place to gather for convo, games and pizza. Please do not bring any liquor, they are selling drinks. Limited parking in front (keep in mind- this parking can challenge you when youre leaving) there is a parking lot in the back for those with less driving skills or tender nerves. Overall we were all thinking of ways to utilize this space in the future. If you need a cure for what ALES you, have some Black Potion.

The place has a really good vibe. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this if you are into gaming and comedy shows. Really cool store.

Great spot for playing board games! Attentive staff that genuinely like games and are happy to give recommendations. Good beer selection too and a great way to select one at random if you are indecisive. Overall great place!

Obsessed and will be coming back ? the selection of board games, snacks, and atmosphere was awesome and I also loved all the comfortable seating to play games in small or large groups. They also host events and have discounted games for purchase. Borrowing games to play at the location was free though.

I've been to the Black Potion three times now and each time has been great. The rental rooms have been nice with fans included to keep them cool. Definitely recommend popping in and grabbing a drink and board game with friends.

Food is hard to rate lower than 5 stars when its all prepackaged snacks lol. Chips, jerky, fruit snacks, etc. The drink selection was massive and they had a ton of nonalcoholic options as well. The board game selection was stellar, with lots of options for cooperative and competitive games. Plenty of space for you to run tabletop games, and supplies available for purchase! I wish I had a place like this closer to home!
