We visited the restaurant to try their enchiladas. The chicken enchiladas were a bit dry, but the beef enchiladas were quite good. However, the cheese enchiladas were the best of all. We enjoyed the flour tortillas, but my wife and daughter did not care for the rice. The restaurant is small and lacks much in terms of decor, but I did like the dinner bar seating. I may have to try that next time.

Everything was amazing! The lady at the cash register greeted us and was very friendly. The gentleman that waited on our table was extremely friendly, polite and professional. We didn’t take any photos. However, outside the cafe is a sign stating that the Enchiladas are best in San Antonio for 2024. Yes, we agree!
The Carne Guisada, their Chips & Salsa, Flour Tortillas are also the BEST in San Antonio! Blanco Cafe on Blanco St. and W. Elsmere knows what San Antonio Mexican Food is supposed to be! Simply AMAZING! ¡MUCHISIMAS GRACIAS! We’re going back!!

Purchased tortillas to go , and when I was eating I got a strong taste in my mouth of someone’s perfume or lotion…the tortilla literally smells like a grandma perfume so disgusting….they should start wearing gloves when they make tortillas

Food was cold I wish it was warmer, they served me a cup of water with a dead fly in it and when I told the waitress she took it and showed the other waitress and they laughed?? I'm not sure why that was funny but kind of bothered me. The service isn't good enough here. They came out on the news for roaches in the kitchen "clean" dishes sitting on the floor and live rodents. Do yourself a favor and go to a clean restaurant or u can chance it and get sick eating here. ?
