Nick was our server and he was Amazing! Being in the F&B industry for 25 years, I am very critical. He made several recommendations and was spot on with every single recommendation he made. He had just the right amount of table presents, not overbearing and did not check on us too much but also did not let us need to ask for anything. Could not have asked for anything better!
Excellent experience in every way! From greeting by the hostess, to our wonderful waitress , Alyssa , who gave us the most amazing recommendations. The cuisine more than met our expectations! French Brie bites Grilled Spanish Octopus Wild Boar Lasagna Grilled Bistro Steak Finishing up with white chocolate raspberry bread pudding! Cannot wait for next time 😊
Lukus was an amazing bartender and host in the food was outstanding and the chef came and personally introduced himself. We will definitely be back. What a wonderful wonderful experience. I highly recommend.
We had brunch on Father's Day. The food was excellent but service was slow, not because of our server, but because the kitchen was backed up. The server was very attentive and apologetic, and because of the delays, comped a dessert. Regardless of this experience, we will be back.
Went for Father's Day dinner on the Saturday evening before. It was just an okay experience. Waters's I believe was newer, and didn't really know the menu at all so it was a little back and forth between her and the back staff. We ordered our drinks first and then about 10 minutes later ordered our appetizers and main entrees. The appetizers came out in 2 minutes after ordering and before we even received our drinks. The timing was just way off and kind of threw the evening off. It took about 45-50 minutes for our entrees to arrive and it wasn't very busy yet. Food was okay, I don't know if it was as good for the price point offered though. The ribeye came out with a crazy amount of whipped butter on it, that was a sign that it wasn't either the best quality or they needed to add some sort of flavor to it. It was under seasoned but okay. They had someone with a camera going around to different tables asking to take photos of them that seemed a little gimmicky. I was thinking this place would be on a level close to Perry's, Myron's, or J Prime and it just wasn't at all on that level.
With this being the 6th time going, I must address how much Alexis and Cynthia went above and beyond with their service. Truly professionals in their work. On to the food, The tomahawk steak and Lobster Special both were decadent in their own way. The entire table was taken up by the grand feast of surf and turf. Overall, 10 out of 10 experience and food.
Had dinner here, the atmosphere was wonderful, the staff was engaging and friendly, the attention to detail was incredible. The food was absolutely amazing, the steak was so flavorful and tender !!! I would absolutely recommend to all my friends.
Manager and bartender have a horrible attitude. Customer service is a disappointment as well as they charged me for things I did not order.
Phenomenal from beginning to end. The dinner, drinks and desserts were all top notch. And the icing on the cake was Darren’s charming service. (Ask for him as your server!) Perfect for a special occasion or date night.
Cynthia is the best!!!! She helped me celebrate my graduation and couldn’t have made it a better experience! Thanks girl!! We got the broccolini and mac and cheese and I got the grilled cheese with short ribs it was awesome!!!

We shared the shirt rib grilled cheese, nothing spectacular for $18. Waiter was average at best. Thought about rating lower since I looked at my credit card statement and realized they added an additional $2.28 for the tip after I already tipped about 23%. After reaching out the general manager Jason Smith had my money refunded but called it a trivial amount and acted as though I should let the restuarant spend my money as they seem fit. I wonder how much other money they have taken without authorization?
Keep an eye on your statements.
Great food options with a good lunch option and price.
The pork schnitzel was really fantastic.
This was our first time at Boiler House and we ( group of 6). Really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and our fantastic host Lauren. She was attentive and helpful with our questions. If there was one negative it was that my ribeye sandwich had a little to much gristle for a sandwich. The flavor was fantastic though. We would visit again if we are ever back in San Antonio. Our thanks again to Lauren.
We had a really wonderful date night here. Excellent steaks and great service from Victor
