This take out Chinese Restaurant is a hidden gem! I just ordered the chicken noodle soup and it is the cleanest, freshest tasting broth, tons of chicken, vegetables, and noodles. 5 stars all day long! The only thing I can say is...I wish I had tried this place sooner!!!

I heard a lot of really good things about this place so I order the sesame chicken lunch special with fried rice today. The chicken was okay…..it was tender, but didn’t really have a lot of flavor. The rice had no flavor whatsoever. It was nice to try but I don’t think I’ll drive all the way from Bulverde again.

Food tastes great however they are EXTREMELY GREEDY WITH PORTION SIZES!!! We have been faithful costumers for over 5 years now and the portion sizes keep getting smaller and smaller every time.. Especially for a $13 upgraded “chef special” entree and you end up with half the box filled with barely cooked inedible broccoli. The rice portions are laughable at best. You will absolutely 100% still be hungry after your plate is clean. Also, don’t you dare ask for more than the allotted 2 soy sauces per family order or the lady at the counter will sigh at you like the burden she clearly wants you to know you are and then will only hand you 4 more.

We've been ordering here since before the pandemic, and have never had a bad meal or one that wasn't so hot even with the drive home that we needed to wait 5-10 minutes to eat it.
It's always fresh, piping hot and full of flavor. They never give me push back on my substitution (mushrooms instead of carrots in beef broccoli or chicken broccoli — try it!) and their lo mein is some of the best we've ever had.
We love supporting a longtime Timberwood Park family and they make it so easy with such incredible, consistent food.
