Probably the worst bubble tea I’ve had and I’ve been drinking bubble tea since 2012. Went in today and the staff are not warm nor friendly people, except for the guy with glasses selling the trading cards. I made convo with the young man behind the counter, but the older south asian lady just stared and didn’t say a single word to me not even when i was close to the counter. The bubbletea I will give a 1.5 out of 10, bubble tea is supposed to be thick in texture and the passion fruit one that I got was just milk-juice in a cup with the tapioca balls. I specifically asked the guy in the hat to point out in the menu which ones are the traditional bubble teas. But what I ended up with was just sugar-water with milk and tapioca balls in the bottom. Don’t waste your money here, I threw away $15.00 dollars here.

Bestea was first bad because under the tables were chewed up gum but the mango smoothie was delicious 😋

Hot dayum, this made my day lol. Banana split and Pokémon card packs to open brought my spirit up after a long day at work

Don’t waste your time visiting this place. Very misleading to have coffee on their sign as one of the four words when they only have one type of coffee out of the whole menu. The worker had attitude and wasn’t willing to make a different drink or add anything in case I didn’t like it??? I have tried drinks at other places. If I don’t like it, I just don’t order it again and would try something different. Don’t assume that we don’t know what we like. This is not our first visit to a coffee or boba shop. He also badmouthed his co-workers by saying they don’t try different customer requests because the other workers couldn’t understand complex things. The lighting in there is also weird, like either turn the lights on or dim them but in between it is not a good look. However, if you love Pokemon, go give them a visit, it will be your cup of tea! (Pun Intended!) Also, they did have many non-caffeinated options and also many non-dairy options, so they do have some potential to be a great place.

This place and the TCG shop right next to it is the perfect hangout place ever. Especially the different drinks here. The pinà colada smoothie is so good. Also I had a question but are we able to ask for possible discounts on the cards or no?

The people here are super nice! Answered all of my silly questions about the menu and helped customize my drink to taste it's best :) they have card games, chess, and tic tac toe to play while you wait for your food/drinks to be ready. Super quick, super polite.

This place is NO LONGER BOSS TEA. Indian owner took over their drinks are very sweet and DON’T taste like fruit. DONT RECOMMEND. It’s like your drinking sugar told girl for a drink that boss tea had made it and it was pure sugar. Asked for easy ice put no ice. Girl added lemons and the lemons were old. The ice cream section was old ice cream that was melted there for years. DO NOT GO HERE

Dropped by Bestea for the first time since it got converted from Boss Tea today and was pleasantly surprised! Walking in it was a bit quiet, as there was not any music playing, and as I waited for my drinks I found myself a bit bored by the quiet atmosphere and found myself stuck on the claw machine by the entrance to pass the time.

I ordered a matcha strawberry latte with boba and a fresh lemonade: the strawberry matcha was a good mix, I do wish it was a bit more matcha but that’s my personal preference. The boba was chewy, which I personally really enjoy but some people might not like. The lemonade was very refreshing however was much more sour than sweet, which is something I love but I know many people don’t. They’re still using the same cups as boss tea did, which was a huge plus for me as I loved how sturdy those cups were!
I did however think the price was a bit much, as I spent $16 for two drinks and a 15% tip. I believe my matcha latte with boba was almost $9, as boba is a $1 add on.

I am definitely interested in coming back to try more drinks and their food options, and see what else changes as this new business grows!

Dietary restrictions: Did not see any options relating to dietary or dairy swaps.

Parking: Parking was easily accessible

I loved this place when it was Boss Tea, but since the change in ownership, I’ve gone twice and both times have been very disappointed. Neither of the times I’ve gone in have the cashiers/baristas been able to answer any questions I had regarding the menu, the teas themselves don’t really taste that good, and they aren’t very transparent with what is actually going into the drink? When I asked what drinks could be made with less sugar no one seemed to know/have a straight answer. I ended up just getting a Thai tea and it didn’t taste anything like a Thai tea.

There also seems to be a lack of training… my boyfriend ordered a drink and requested zero sugar.. to which they put whipped cream and sprinkles on the top. I’ve never been to a boba place that puts whipped cream and sprinkles on any drink??

The environment feels undecorated, and it doesn’t even look like there was any attempt to make the place look presentable for the soft opening. There was no music play so it was just loud and chaotic with people’s voices. The cups were extremely flimsy and felt low quality, which was very disappointing considering the boss tea cups were phenomenal… how feasible would it be to order cups from the same supplier?

Despite the cheaper cup and the blander taste, prices have somehow gone up. A Thai tea is somehow $6 and to add boba it’s $1. After taxes, two drinks came out to about $16.50 which is pretty crazy for two drinks.

Maybe I’ll try again later down the line, but as of right now it is not somewhere I want to go again.

I got a tiger black milk tea from here.
As boss tea it was a rich and flavorful drink I loved
As Best Tea it tasted like watered down milk with the smallest hint of tea. It was pretty disappointing.
