If it weren't for the poor service I received, my atmosphere would have been more pleasant. Unfortunately , servers here need a lesson in hospitality

Choose to come here due to having a very large group and we didn’t want to wait during lunch hour. We were able to be seated with no wait time. In fact, it was like we had the whole restaurant pretty much to ourselves, minus two couples. To be exactly went Tuesday afternoon around 1:30pm. Food was in comparison to Pappadeaux‘s, still really tasty. We even had a few people who didn’t like seafood and still were able to find something on the menu. Our server was awesome. And handled it like a champ, and it was plenty of us. I would definitely go here during a date night. Our drinks could have been a bit stronger considering we ordered ranch water.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of this resturant! The floors, white walls and tables were spotless! Bravo! I ordered the shrimp & grits, and creme brulee for dessert. Both were excellent! Don't let the very simple exterior facade keep you from trying this spot! The service was also prompt, polite and personable!

The food has always been exceptional. However the service has never been so blatantly poor. We had reservations for a group of ten at 6:30 PM. When we arrived our group waited until 7:00 PM to be seated. Why? The music was so loud that it was difficult to talk to the person next to you. It took about 30 minutes before we got our drinks. Most of us just wanted water. Our food took another 30 minutes. From the time we had our reservations to when we were served was two full hours. Why. I and several of our party asked for extra lemon or other minor items that were simply ignored! Even though we were five couples of two, they automatically charged us a 20 % grituity plus the charge for using a credit card. On the bottom they are conveniently putting a line for a tip. Give me a break! In short, food is good but you have to put up all the bs. Is it worth it? I for one don't think so. There are many other sea food restaurants in San Antonio with good food and far better service who value their customer requests.

I heard so many good things about this place! The service was friendly but slow; the food was overpriced and underwhelming. Pay attention to the pattern of the critical reviews so you know what to expect.
