A fellow church member had been raving about how good this food is for over a year. He finally got a small group of us to meet there for lunch right after church. The service was good, the place was clean, had ample parking and ample seating. I was very impressed with their menu choices. I ordered the Empanada plate with an ice tea. It was delicious. I believe Brenda's will replace Las Palapas as my favorite go-to Mexican restaurant.
It's a nice little hole in the wall. Sometimes, the best food comes from a place just like this. Went for breakfast and it was quick and simple, good food, good price.

It was my first time coming here to the restaurant they have good food I have for breakfast pancakes and scrambled eggs with bacon and Sweet ice tea
Really great, family owned eatery. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and there's always a table ready for you to take a seat.
Love their lunch and breakfast specials. They have great value and variety. Can't recommend Brenda's enough!

Visting San Antonio from the valley. Decided to eat at Brenda's Mexican Restaurant before heading back to the Rio Grande Valley. I can truly say it did not disappoint. Food was great! Atmosphere amazing and customer service was excellent. My family and I will for sure be eating again at Brenda's when we come back to San Antonio.

Quaint classic diner style spot. The carne guisada and barbacoa were very good.
