Disappointing due to the lack of basic amenities. There was no restroom, no WiFi, and customer service was minimal. These are important for customer comfort and convenience. I hope management considers making improvements, quickly.

At 2PM today(Sat) I went to Daily Bread bakery to buy a sweet treat and they were completely out of Everything except a few Oatmeal Raisin cookies ! They close at 4 PM and will no product to sell for 2 hours ! This is not smart ! On a Sat ? A peak buying day ?? And is very inconvenient and frustrating for the customer as it happens often ! I won’t be back .

Love this place however some upkeep is needed on the ceiling. The fiber glass insulation is literally falling out of the ceiling right over the area where the bread is made. Two more torn parts of fiber glass ceiling are exposed over the register area as well close to where bread is placed for sale in open air. The bread, location and vibe is fantastic! Please repair and deep clean, it just feels too unsettling buying and eating the delicious bread knowing it's been made under that crack in the ceiling with pink panther spilling out. I did not have the heart to take a picture to post. In all fairness I saw a pic posted from 6 months ago and it doesn't appear to be there on the left so it may be something recent and not long standing.

I went here thinking I had found a gem. The issue now is do I want to deal with the rudeness of the person behind the counter. The bread was wonderful. I need more but I am looking for some place that does not think customers are a burden. I really was hoping this place would work as they are at a convenient location.
Just found this bakery today and I cannot believe I have lived in San Antonio for three and a half years without knowing about it. I bought bread, tea cake, scones, and muffins. All are scrumptious, with just the right texture and flavor. Cannot wait to go back!

The cinnamon rolls are delicious and huge! Might be the best cinnamon rolls we’ve had. They also have several pastries. The scones are very good

I’ve driven by Broadway Bread for years (maybe a couple of decades) & never thought of trying it. I was buying bread from the high dollar Market 1 block away instead. Well when you turn 65, they will call you diabetic & you have to eat cardboard bread & tortillas. My wife told me I could instead eat freshly milled flour bread, Broadway Daily Bread. She was absolutely correct and it is deee-licious. I wish there was freshly milled flour tortillas too.

Always a great variety of baked goods. Love their lemon and pecan bars as well as the blueberry muffin. Recommend you go early for a great selection. We went on a Saturday morning so parking in front was available.

Oh my goodness! The atmosphere was amazing and the young ladies helping us were super friendly and FANTASTIC!
We walked out with a sour dough loaf (the BEST), monkey bread (dangerously delicious), and peanut butter cookies (my husband’s fav)!
We are fans of this location and will be regulars!
