I've been on the hunt for good coffee shops/spaces to get homework done at and Brown Coffee Co is definitely on my list now. Lots of space, tons of natural light, and ample electrical sockets at the benches and bars for those who need to power their devices.I got a chai and it was delish.My only gripe is the parking lot behind them (which is not their fault and out of their control).I've added a photo of the pay sign and it kinda blows my mind that they want $20 for 3 hours? Yes it's in the "city" but street parking is just a few blocks away. Brown can validate parking for up to 45 minutes, and the barista was super helpful in telling me where I can find free parking, just a short walk away.I'll definitely be back, and I hope I save some others the troubles of trying to navigate the parking situation.

On the last day of our trip we discovered Brown Coffee Co. Wish we had found them on day 1! Best coffee we’ve had in a very long time. And if the great coffee wasn’t enough, the freshly made vegan pop tart and donut we had was exquisite. Bonus! Thank you Brown Coffee Co for a job well done.

My favorite coffee shop in SA! One reason being this is the coffee shop that opens the latest - 7pm - definitely good news for night people like me. Plus the coffee here is so good and they actually have lactose-free milk (real milk) rather than oat/soy milk - I am lactose-intolerant but I still want my real milk in my coffee so this is an excellent plus for me.Ambience is great - there is an indoor and an outdoor area, tables are well spaced and I never feel crowded. The indoor area can be easily divided into a quiet section and a chatty section - but we mostly come here to be in the quiet section.Friendly owner and workers - the ambience is just so calm and open here I feel I can enjoy my coffee and do some work on a slow weekend afternoon. Love love love!

The shop appeared understaffed, with only one barista on a Saturday afternoon. Despite the wait of around 30 minutes for my americano, the barista handled the workload well. The coffee was excellent, but it's unfortunate that the barista had to manage everything alone.

This coffee shop is nice and comfy. The drip coffee is very good. And the raspberry cheese Danish is tasty. It's not overly sweet which I like. The customer service is excellent. I can't get enough of this place. It's nice and comfy. The desserts are fablicious.

The staff was nice, but the atmosphere was underwhelming, a bit like a dentist office waiting room. The cold brew wasn't just awful but completely undrinkable.

I love the light that their store front windows bring in!We tried lattes and their cortave which is espresso, milk and agave. The perfect pick me up with the perfect amount of sweet!Shoutout to David for phenomenal customer service. He helped us sort through what to order and even let us know that they also serve beer! We’ll have to come back to try!Minor suggestion: because the layout is so open, I think staff should put their drinks, bags, water bottles somewhere unseen by the patrons. It gives a messy look to their wide kitchen. This place is beautiful! Cleanliness and neatness would make it even more so.

My friend and I checked this place out since he is a coffee lover. He said it was the best coffee he'd had in all our coffee shop adventures in San Antonio. It has a nice atmosphere and when the weather is nice there is a nice seating area outside as well. It may be a bit pricey for the size of the cup but if you're a coffee lover may be well worth it as far as flavor.

I really appreciate that they have lactose free milk as an option so that was great and my coffee was yummy. The service was good, and the ambiance as well. The reason i'm giving 3 stars is because I think an important part of a coffee shop is the comfort level of the chairs because usually people come here to sit and work/talk/hang out and their bench was incredibly uncomfortable. But besides that, great place !
