Candy's Old Fashion Burgers

Good burgers! Needs parking lot. Nervous cause there were all cops in there! ?

As a potential Juror this small, old town burger joint is across the street from the courthouse which is about the only good thing. I had the chicken sandwich with tots, overcooked, dried, paper thin. The tots were over cooked and greasy. Not a place I would return to.

Menu had plenty of options including the most important(Diet Dr.Pepper) and all the employees seemed nice. Very cute place and they also had Cholula at every table!

I have been coming out to Candy's for over twelve years now and the food never disappoints. If you have to be downtown I highly recommend this place. The food is excellent and the prices are very fair compared to other places downtown. The workers are really nice and always helpful. I know they will be moving into a new building soon near the governors mansion but that will not stop me from having their amazing food lol. My favorites are the bacon cheese burger combo and the fried chicken Cesar salad. ?

Friendly fast service and a tasty burger with tater tots for a fair price.

Seriously the best burger I have ever had. I cannot explain how good it is. Only problem is the parking situation, so dining in can be hard. But the food is sooooo worth it.

Very good quality: the food, the service, the atmosphere. I hadn't been in at least 4 years and nothing has become even slightly less awesome. In fact, today (7/11) one of the young ladies on staff noticed I was on a scooter and having to carry two drinks, so she put them in a carefully tied bag for me and even taped the lids down to make sure they didn't spill. Really awesome service, and I truly appreciate it.

Kid-friendliness: As long as they're not busy, seating is great (it's a bit small but pretty good spacing for downtown). Not a ton of kids options but they do have a few and that's usually just fine. Best pricing you're going to find downtown too.

A blast in the past hole in the wall location in central downtown. Had the Chicken fried Chicky platter which was extremely reasonably priced but a little lacking in flavor. I’d come back for the convenience, and maybe to try their burgers.They should consider adding better lighting, I could barely see my food lol
