John Manchu, 10 yrs as a small business owner. John had a kidney transplant 41 yrs ago and feels blessed being able to run his retirement/ business as he calls it. Food is great don't get me wrong, the sweet tea is eh. It could be better.
Giving this place 5 stars because the prices are amazing and I save a lot more than going to Bill Millard, KFC, Churches chicken. The chicken is a great size and the fries are nice. Just the sweet tea and the wait at times is a hit or miss. Other than that I'll continue coming to Cap'n Jims

I came here today buy some chicken and that young lady that working right now has a attire not friendly at all saying no white meet very rude he going to loose customers like that

Not tasteful the food was very bland and I don’t know how this business has been around this many years. The food wasn’t good and I didn’t get extra ketchup which I needed to have to give it more flavor. The tea was okay but needed sugar and the price was reasonable tho if you’re really hungry and don’t care how the food taste but only have $15 this is the place to go to feed two people.

Definitely a place you can’t judge a book by its cover. We ordered the special 2 pc fish 2 pc chicken fries and a 32 oz tea for $10 and some change. It was very fresh and very good. It came with 2 good sized pieces of fish and 2 leg quarters. The chicken was crunchy and had lots of flavor. The fish was crispy and seasoned just right. The tartar was a lil too Mayo with not enough pickle for my taste. The bottom of the box was filled with warm fresh fries and we got 4 slices of bread. We will definitely be back for the family chicken special.
