We were seated right on time w/our Open Table ressie--thanks OT. All three of us loved or salad and main courses. WE did not enjoy an approximately 30-minute wait form being seated/greeted by our Waiter and then having him take our order. Cappy's and their other restaurant Mama Mia's have a very high noise level in the main dining area.

Cappy's is nothing if not consistent. The cocktails, the food, the service...you can rely on all being superb leading to a most pleasant dining experience. We dined with some friends who had never been to Cappy's, and although I wasn't worried, they enjoyed the same, wonderful Cappy experience we always have.

What could I possibly add that would be novel in reviews? As on other occasions, we celebrated my friend's 80th birthday complete with her favorite peach cobbler and a Cappy' s birthday candle. Our menu selections including the Out of the Blue special were as usual appealing to the eye and taste. And the server was particularly professional in his descriptions of our menu choices and our specific requests. We continue to choose Cappy's over and over because they are always welcoming, and the food and atmosphere always result a pleasurable experience.

It has been awhile since we visited Cappy's, and we were disappointed that the shrimp nachos had been drastically changed. The new ones had strongly flavored shrimp that had been grilled as opposed to boiled shrimp. The spicy flavors including Serrano peppers had been replaced with milder flavors and too much micro greens. The mussel base had been changed to a lemon grass/coconut type. We missed the tomato/garlic base. The filet was perfect, as were the cocktails. Wish they would consider returning to the traditional dishes.

Great little place. Amazing food, good service and doable prices. Everything is always constantly stunning. Remember that you will need a reservation as it gets very busy and Cappy's is not that big.

Cappys has a nice upbeat atmosphere. Our service was very good. All the staff worked as a team and that was impressive. If anyone saw a need, they stepped right in. Refreshing to see. I ordered the Lobster Grilled Cheese with onion rings/french fries. Overall the sandwich was dissapointing. The bread had been slathered in an oil substance, then toasted. The lobster was chewy and there was very little cheese. The onion rings were the star of the plate. My sister ordered the crab cake with a side salad. The salad was served on the same plate as the crabcake and was not worth an extra $12. For the price of the crabcake, it should have been served as part of the meal. The crabcake had a good flavor, but was served lukewarm. The best part of the meal was dessert. My sister ordered the Sticky Toffee Pudding for her birthday dessert. It was served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was the most delicious dessert I have had in a long time.
Always enjoy dining at Cappy's. My wife had salmon and I had shrimp. All excellent. Service was friendly and professional. Highly recommend Cappy's.

The pork chop and the gulf shrimp were incredible. Service was great. We appreciated how much quieter it was on the second floor. Loved that the chef came around to check on how everyone was enjoying their plates. We will definitely revisit Cappy's!

From mixed drinks to various sandwiches, everything was very tasty. Don't sleep on the fresh chips as they are awesome. Friendly staff, very knowledgeable.
