Hands down this is the best restaurant in San Antonio. Best food, service and atmosphere. Consistently good. Its a great hidden gem in our city. Highly recommend. On this visit had brunch and had gumbo and split fried shrimp. Chefs kiss.

I have been going here since 1993 with my mom than daughter and now my grandbaby. The food is always 5 stars and the bar outstanding I have never had a complaint except the waiter
never told us his name then asked for our order didn't write or input order then came back later and asked what it was and we never received the fruit at brunch.

Wow, what an amazing place! It was my second time at Cappy‘s and we celebrated my birthday there. Again, I had the amazing Mustang chicken. It’s out of this world. The service was great. I will definitely be back.

Cappy’s has always been a hometown favorite. Definitely worth the drive even if you aren’t in the Alamo Heights area. Known for seafood and cocktails, just about everything on the menu is good. I had the Potato Crusted Halibut with Julianne Vegetables. It was killer, highly recommend. Cocktails were spot on and the bread is delicious. Only room for improvement would be desert. We had the Key Lime Pie which came with a kiwi gel. It was decent but far from the best Key Lime Pie I’ve had and the Kiwi was an odd addition.

I’ve had lunch here twice. Both times my choices were delicious. I especially loved the homemade potato chips. The waitress was attentive and brought our meals out quickly.
My only complaint was the uncomfortable bar stool.

Always enjoy dining at Cappy's. My wife had salmon and I had shrimp. All excellent. Service was friendly and professional. Highly recommend Cappy's.
The pork chop and the gulf shrimp were incredible. Service was great. We appreciated how much quieter it was on the second floor. Loved that the chef came around to check on how everyone was enjoying their plates. We will definitely revisit Cappy's!
Good food. Too cold inside. Hard to feel comfortable when you are eating and visiting. Service was very good.
Cute little restaurant, has very nice open floor plan with natural lighting not to loud and the food is absolutely fantastic! We had the pleasure of having Libby as our server today!
