Went for the last few weekends cause it was closing to get their margaritas and corn bread!!

I went as part of a group of 5, we all ordered something different and ate everything family style. We had the shrimp, it was excellent! The chicken was very good. We also had the wagyu fajitas, the venison and duck as well as the brisket - all of those were good but not stand outs in any way. They had "run out" of red salsa so only got the salsa verde, which was good, but I need red salsa with any mexican food! (What mexican food place runs out of red salsa and has no other options..??!!) They had also run out of pinot grigio which was a bummer. We were seated in the building in the back, which was pretty but very loud.

The place is visually appealing, but the service and food left a lot to be desired. They had run out of two meals we had planned to order, the food took a long time to arrive, it was just ok, and the drinks were not good. We will probably not return

First time there. We went for my wife's b-day dinner. The building is beautiful. They sat us in the bar instead of the restaurant without asking. Then the waitress was inattentive as if we were an afterthought. The wait staff in general were more interested in talking and joking around with each other and payed no attention to diners. The tuna ceviche was good. The meat was fine, but nothing special. The corncakes were gummy and everything was cold. We were surprised as it is so close to Hotel Emma which is more upscale. We assumed it would be too. Disappointed. There are so many other awesome options in the area.

Food was very good; service could have been somewhat better. The restaurant is extremely noisy when full.

We took our college freshman granddaughter and her good friend for brunch / lunch on a Saturday. Food and service were both exceptional. Carriqui was our granddaughter's recommendation as her dad had taken her there several weeks before and it was close to Trinity University. We are glad she chose it. We will certainly return on another trip to San Antonio.

Menu used to be great. They changed the menu and longer have our favorites like the tortilla soup and tuna tostada. Likely won't go back.

The place is beautiful and the service is great and drinks were good.
However I rate a 3 solely based on the food. We spent about 180 for my boyfriend and I and it just didn’t hit the mark for the prices and quality. The catch of the day was a redfish it was very very salty and kind of dry. We also ordered the chorizo potatoes. The potatoes didn’t taste like chorizo it just tasted like potatoes in a bbq sauce. My boyfriend ordered the brisket plate and it was a small amount and also it was very fatty.
For the mount of money you spend to the quality it’s just not it for us.

Brianca was an excellent waitress with a wonderfully inviting personality! The venison, boar, and mesquite chicken were delicious and tender. Great choice for dinner.
