A good friend of mine kept telling me to try cava whenever I came across one, but since we don’t have any in my hometown, I had never been. When I was in Dallas, I hesitated at first, honestly, with a name like “cava,” you don’t really know what to expect. I walked in skeptical… and man, I regret not trying it sooner.
The setup is like a more elevated, Mediterranean-style Chipotle, simple, clean, and fast, but with way better flavors. Everything I ordered was incredibly good. I tried the lamb, steak, red hummus, and a Greek yogurt style sauce, and every single thing was fresh, flavorful, and honestly amazing. I’m officially a fan now.
It also seems like a pretty healthy option, which makes it even better. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I see one.
Must try. Absolutely deserving of a 5/5.

My first time trying cava was yesterday and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!! The staff are so friendly. The atmosphere was clean, nice &’ vibey for someone who likes to dine alone. It was very enjoyable. The service was absolutely amazing. All my questions were answered , nobody felt bothered by how long I was trying to figure out what I wanted. I’ll come back for sure!
