Extremely disappointed with our experience at Cellar Mixology Bar. A group of my friends were asked to leave with absolutely no explanation. We were calmly enjoying our evening, purchasing drinks, and not bothering or disturbing anyone in the establishment.
When the bouncers escorted my friends out and they asked for a reason, none was provided. Being removed from a venue without cause or explanation is unacceptable and left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome.
Our group consists of professionals, including doctors, nurses, and military members, who expected to be treated with basic courtesy and transparency. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this establishment.

I want to start by saying that all the bartenders are very friendly and hardworking. The only thing that's really bad is the manager, Francesca, I think that's her name. She's not very professional at her job and she's very rude. I had my party on Saturday, and if I had known she would treat me like that, I never would have thought of celebrating at Cellar, but rather at EasyBaby. I was a good customer, but to this day I won't be going back because of that woman!
It was a cute spot. Fun drinks, no food options

Google maps says they open at 5. The restaurant said they open at 6. We waited and when the door was unlocked at 6, they said we couldn’t go down cause they were not ready yet. We waited 15 more minutes and went downstairs. They told us they still weren’t ready and to come back in 15 minutes. They wouldn’t even let us sit down and wait. We were shooed back up to the street. We had reservations for dinner later but ended up ditching the dinner since we couldn’t even get drinks. We did not feel welcome by staff at all. We came 30 min away to show this place to a friend and were totally let down.

I was disturbed and alarmed to discover that this place will not allow anyone in wearing shorts, even in San Antonio's brutally hot July nights. Completely absurd.

It’s 100F degrees out. We wither under the force of the sun. The city is deserted.
For some reason this place says “no shorts “. Why? It’s San Antonio - nobody here wears pants. What a stupid choice. Why would you enforce that? It’s a quick way to go out of business.

I’ve never been treated so rudely before. I understand that security staff have to deal with many difficult situations and people, but the head of security at the entrance of Cellar is by far the most rude, arrogant, and problematic person I’ve ever encountered. It’s embarrassing to have someone like that as the first point of contact to “welcome” guests to the bar.
It’s a shame because I’ve always liked Cellar and had so much fun there before, but this time we decided to leave after just 10 minutes because we didn’t appreciate the poor treatment, and I don’t think I’d want to come back.

I had family come down from Mexico and wanted to treat them right and Cellar did not disappoint! Every time I go I have a great time. We did bottle service and the service over all was great!

The customer service they provide was horrible. From the bottle service girl Savannah and the bartenders etc. My family and I went last night to celebrate a birthday we requested vip purchased 2 bottles spent well over $600 and only to be discriminated. As someone who always gets vip services at clubs bars etc I’m very familiar with the process of how it works but ive never experienced this type of service before. But then again i guess it don’t matter bc the service girl is going to collect her tip regardless wether good customer service is provide or not. Let me just add we ended up leaving earlier than expected bc we had to go to the bartender several times to get what came with the bottle services literally took her a good 30 minutes. Don’t get me wrong the music and crowd were great but the service provided was just not it.

This is the most horrible place in San Antonio for a bar. They are racist in this bar. The worst thing I was in this bar and people offered me dangerous and harmful products. I advise no honorable person to go there. It is a thug place. I wish the police would raid this place which does not meet safety standards. It is always full on weekends.

First time going to cellar. Wonderful bartenders and the drinks were amazing. Only downfall is not a lot of seating. If you have a group of 3+, you won’t have anywhere to sit. Only go for date night really
The candles by the stairs seem dangerous. Especially if there were to be an emergency or a belligerent crowd, God forbid.
This place feels like a speakeasy awesome vibes.
