I heard about this place on Austin Highway, my old stomping grounds, in San Antonio. I decided to pay them a visit and try them out. I discovered this restaurant has been in this location for ~30 years.
We were greeted and seated really quick. The server brought us a menu, and I decided to order a migas plate, and my friend ordered the San Antonio plate. I had water, and he chose a bottle of Mexican coke.
Our plates arrived, and the food and plates were hot to the touch. There are two salsa - red mild and green hot. I chose the gree. The food was good and the prices were really fair.
The service was good, the staff was pleasant, and the place was clean and had the old Mexico feel.
I hope you take a chance and visit. I will be back to try out their lunch menu. I also hope your experience is as good and pleasant as mine was.
Note that they are ONLY open for breakfast and lunch.
Parking: There is a parking lot. Just know that the entire strip center shares. So, there is parking available, when I arrived.

Went for some breakfast tacos and the food was good but nothing to write home about. Everyone was very polite and prompt tho.

This place has slowly declined, portions are smaller but prices are of course higher and then your charged way more than price on menu. Enchiladas are dry they barely put any sauce or cheese now. Servers can be rude when they are busy like it's the patrons fault. Will no longer be spending my hard earned money here if I'm not

We live down the street. Its never disappointing..the food seems no matter what you order is served hot and a good amount...the lemonade..so good..great staff...small hole in the wall you can miss if not looking for..but look cause its the best Mexican restaurant in area.
