portion are like half a cup sodas are $2.39 refills .75 plus chicken fried steak disappointing first and last time for me $14 one person LUBYS would have been better

1st Timers, sampled riblets - great flavor, Fried chicken great flavor & juicy and chicken fried steak great as well, greens, mac & fries w/red kool aid! Will return! 😋

Food was delicious!
Hospitality was better. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted.. I mentioned it was my first time there and the server offered a sample of their fried pork riblets.. Oh my gosh.. Crust was perfection.. The riblet was fall off the bone and juicy. The 2 pc spicy chicken was delectable. The corn fritters were very tasty. The potato salad was a bit sweet, but still had a good flavor.

There was a constant stream of people walking in.. And not a stranger among them. The staff was sooo friendly with everyone. You felt like Norm! Haha.. Yeah, that ages me..

Go out and try it. You won't regret it.

One of my favorite chicken places nearby me. They season their chicken perfectly and it always comes out crunchy and tender. I always get the chicken and waffles and would recommend it to anyone that decides to grab a bite here. The red beans and rice are very good too as sides. The staff is very friendly and inviting as well. Definitely gets a 5 star from me

Delicious hot and fresh chicken 🍗

So let me tell you about my visit to Chapman’s chicken. It was the first time I’ve heard plenty about it, but it was my first visit there first of all the service that I got was the best service I’ve ever had at any restaurant find dine or drive-through. The gentleman at the window was amazing. I feel bad. I did not get his name. I was a little bit short on cash, but he was so excited for me to try this chicken. Betty gave me a sample of pretty much everything that they do in there. I recommend that hands-down More than anything I’ve ever tried. It was amazing the service topped everything the chicken was amazing but the service was the best. Thank you.
