Placed a order about 11:15 ish my order was cold ,chicken over cooked n missing food .very disappointed

The Yams was can Yams, no seasoning for taste, the greens were can glory greens, wasn't fresh at all. Mac and cheese was terrible; you could taste yhe lemon juice in it. Meals was not presented well. Fries was left off one order and I had to wait longer for the fries. Wouldn't let me use my military discount. I will not be returning to this place, food was terrible, really terrible...$53 down the Drain just like that...food went in the trash and oh yea. There was a roach running around on the corner, I showed it to another customer...that really did kill my appetite. They need an inspection .

Never lets me down! Their food is amazing and their customer service skills are top notch! This is hard to find nowadays. I always recommend this place to everyone I know. You can tell the owner cares about his business and employees.

The worst part about these folks is that they never answer their phones to take an order.

Today was my first time being here. I got the plate which comes with a drink. I got 2 piece white with rice and beans and Mac and cheese. Honestly this is some of the best food I have tasted, and some of the best service I think I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant. One of the workers asked me if everything was good and it sure was. I think the people here take pride in what they do in their community and it shows. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some good fried chicken.

This is my 1st time eating here and let me tell you, the lemon pepper chicken and French fries were amazing! I can’t eat chicken from places like Popeyes, Bush Chicken, or Church’s chicken because of the type of cooking oil used. It upsets my stomach. I’m so glad I found a great place where the food is delicious and my stomach agrees. Thank you, sir. I will be there on a weekly basis.

Oh my goodness! Dont let the looks fool you! My family and I love it! From the owner to the employees and the FOOD! It’s a hidden gem. The lemon pepper chicken is my favorite. I loooove IT!

Probably the best fried chicken in San Antonio. The place is clean. The beans and rice are delicious. The chicken pieces are large. It probably doesn’t get better than this.

Sed here. So I went to check out this spot since my good friend is heir to the throne. Well, lemme tell ya!! Best chicken i have had in the last 10 years! No kidding! Fresh, crispy, flaky, juicy and superbly seasoned!! Chatman's Chicken is now my GOTO spot for chicken! With Sweet Potato Pie that makes you downright SELFISH!! LoL!!! I LOVE this place and would recommend everyone to try it out!! Getting hungry just writing this review!

We drive from Kyle TX to San Antonio for Chapman's Chicken. The best sevice and home cooked food. I love it. And ALWAYS recommend it to my friends. Thank you Mr.

I visited Chatman’s Chicken for the 1st time today and I must say that this is a gem amongst the East side of San Antonio area. If you’re ever in the San Antonio area, please stop by for some delicious food. I will be back. The staff are very friendly and professional. The restaurant is very clean as well. I give them a 10/10
