Me and my husband found this restaurant by accident on New Year's Day because our regular place was closed, my husband ordered the enchiladas thinking they were the Mexican one's not the Tex-Mex one's and the server said no problem she would cancel out that plate and my husband chose the flauta plate instead. Great customer service considering it was my husband who mistakingly chose the wrong enchilada plate !
I ordered the Texas plate, with 2 cheese enchiladas, carne guisada, rice, beans, and 2 tortillas. The carne guisada was pretty good; had nice flavor and texture. Rice and beans were ok. Cheese enchiladas a bit bland, and the cheese on the inside was not melted; it was actually a bit cool temperature wise, and could have been heated up more so the cheese could be melted, but it wasn't. Server disappeared, and another employee had to get my refill of tea.
Ordered the pork chop and egg breakfast. The pork chop had great flavor and eggs with cooked perfectly. Best side potatoes ever. It was about the cut and texture of the potatoes that really made this dish a ?. I definitely recommend this place
