First of all the owner is super nice! Her customer service was really outstanding and honestly, this is way better than Whataburger! Or any burger place for that matter. The level of care they take into their burgers is fantastic. I cannot express how well this is. My server was also really nice too, and I feel really happy that I felt like a customer and not a number! Five star service five star food. Everything is five stars. Please come here. It is amazing.!!!

Went here after being recommended by a friend and we loved it!! We got one of their burger specials, a slider sampler, and a cherry chocolate milkshake. We loved everything we got. Some reviews mentioned the food was a bit salty & I agree… BUT it brought out the flavor so well with the fatty cheese and fresh veggies!

Cheesy Jane’s is a solid go-to in San Antonio. The burger was juicy, the fries were crispy, and the milkshake was next level. Super chill atmosphere and friendly service — I’ll definitely be back!
An Instant Classic — Cheesy Jane’s is a San Antonio Must-Try
If you’re craving a burger that hits all the right notes — juicy, cheesy, messy (in the best way), and full of nostalgic diner vibes — Cheesy Jane’s is your spot. From the moment you pull up and see the retro exterior, you know you’re about to step into a local gem that doesn’t just serve burgers… they serve experiences.
I ordered the Cheesy Jane Burger with everything on it and added jalapeños for that extra Texas kick. It was a flavor explosion — the beef was fresh and cooked perfectly, the cheese was molten and generous, and the bun held it all together without falling apart. That alone could’ve earned five stars, but the real star of the show? The hand-spun milkshakes. Mine was vanilla with Oreo crumbles, and I swear it tasted like childhood summers in a glass.
The vibe inside is just as good — funky decor, friendly service, and that old-school diner music that makes you want to linger just a little longer. And they don’t rush you, either. Whether you’re coming with friends, family, or just treating yourself to a solo feast, Cheesy Jane’s makes everyone feel at home.
Pro tip: get the onion rings. Seriously. They’re thick-cut, crispy, and seasoned to perfection.
San Antonio has no shortage of burger joints, but Cheesy Jane’s stands in a league of its own. It’s not just food — it’s comfort, community, and flavor rolled into one delicious bite.

I think they have literally 5 parking spots and that’s it. Very small and not a lot of tables. you have to park in the street or something. You pay for the experience it’s a cute diner but half of the decorations that are supposed to move, were turned off. The food was basic, nothing special. But it was good. Was not worth the price tho. Lots of small tables.

Don't get to go often but this is a guilty pleasure
Food was great and would be willing to try ither options was our first time there. Everything was great the staff was amazing and kind as well.
Food was excellent, one of the best burgers I've ever had!
Service was mediocre. Our server seemed to be new and was very inattentive despite the restaurant being fairly empty. We had to go to the counter to get her attention to order more, she didn't know to bring the check, seemed like she had not worked a server job before...
The other server working Friday seemed to be great though based on her interaction with the other tables, so I think it was just that server.
Good burgers, fresh and hot with a good amount of fries! Will definitely leave you full and satisfied. The atmosphere was nice with the nod to the throwback diner esque setting. Not to mention the great service by the the pretty Latina with the glasses. First time here, but definitely returning! Hopefully with room to have one of there many shake options.
