Had the opportunity to visit with Mark and ask some advice on some various cookware and techniques. He was very thorough and explained some common misconceptions about beef and ways to prepare it.

Chef Mark’s attention to detail elevates his dishes to a whole new level! His food is so delicious and he is a great person to work with! Among other things we had the most amazing deconstructed Tiramisu, shrimp & grits & bacon wrapped quail.

We hired Chef Mark for my husband's birthday dinner, and it was the best decision to celebrate the occasion! Chef Mark responded immediately upon my inquiry, and was responsive and communicative throughout the entire lead-up. We had a six-course dinner which included crab cakes, bacon-wrapped quail, Caesar salad, Steak Diane (filet mignon), olive oil cake, and banana fosters. I still think about and crave that quail! Everything was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was exquisite. The service from his team was wonderful with the perfect level of involvement in our dinner party. Chef Mark also provided wine pairing recommendations and throughout service offered information for each wine selected and served, which was a really nice addition to the evening. Chef Mark was friendly, efficient, knowledgable in his cuisine, and made our evening one to remember. If we ever need a personal chef again, we'll definitely be going back to Chef Mark!

I recently worked with Chef Mark for my mom’s 60th birthday party dinner. The whole experience was an absolute delight from start to finish. He was easy to communicate with and was available by both email and phone. He kept the process simple and I appreciated that he had a menu of options that we could pick from. The food was fabulous! All of our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and how special the whole experience felt. Very appreciative to Chef for helping make my mom’s birthday one we will all never forget. And we all still can’t stop talking about their shrimp and grits!

Mark is a great guy and his food is even better. We had a great time talking with Mark while he prepared dinner and he gladly adjusted the menu slightly due to a food allergy. A fancy restaurant experience in our own home. Highly recommend.

Chef Mark prepared an amazing dinner in our home for Mother's Day. The food, crab cakes' soup, chateaubriand and melt in your mouth bread pudding. Every bite was better than the one before!!! He comes to your home with everything he needs to prepare a 5 star dinner. I can recommend Chef Mark, you will not be disappointed.

Chef Powers helped us celebrate "retirement" with a private dinner. The food and service were absolutely awesome! Bacon-wrapped quail appetizer, cream of three mushroom soup, Steak Diane main entree, and Bananas Foster! As many have commented, very reasonable for a 5 star meal, made and served in your home, complete with entertaining conversation and clean-up! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thank you, Chef!

Chef Powers came to our home to prepare a Christmas meal for ten. He was very communicative throughout the preparation phase, allowing us to build a menu that worked for all. His suggestions were thoughtful and on point. His culinary training allowed for perfect food pairing suggestions and his patience was unparalleled. The day of he was prompt and professional. The charcuterie board had a great variety of high end foods and everyone loved it. The meal was perfect, vegitables fresh and tasty. The meat melted in your mouth and dessert was to die for. I highly recommend Chef Powers for any event you have. Big or small.
