I just moved here and have eaten at least 10 burgers from different places. This one is tops!
Felt like a Chester's burger for dinner. Arrived around 6:30 pm at the hwy 281 and Thousand Oaks location.
The parking lot was filled, but luckily when we entered there was not a line to order. We ordered our drinks, fries, and burgers. Then, collected our drinks and found a table in the main dining area.
Our name for our order was called in about 15 minutes. We had all the condiments already on the table and proceeded to eat. Yum ! There is nothing like a Chester's burger.
The food was good, we had some of the staff visit the table to see if we needed any drink refills or anything else. Good food, good service and some big screen TV with sports on.
I hope that if you visit your experience is as good as mine.
San Antonio burger tradition. Great homestyle burgers and awesome onion rings with friendly service.
Great burger and reasonably priced. The fires are okay, they’re kinda floppy. But other than that solid spot.
Heard good things about this place, so was looking forward to trying it. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Both were pretty bland. The dining room was uncomfortably warm. Although the other seating area was much cooler, available tables hadn’t been bussed so it wasn’t an option. Won’t return.
One of the best places for hamburgers in town. Highly recommend.

Burgers are great and plenty of beer options. Employees were great. The building was a bit dated and dingy.
One of my favorite burger joints in San Antonio! Great tasting hamburgers and homestyle French fries!. I have never had anything else here, but I am sure it is all good!

My boyfriend was raving about cheaters so we finally came for lunch the burgers are big and filling! Bacon was crispy. Definitely worth the hype for me a nice old fashion burger. We also got the chicken wings they were so crispy and juicy the buffalo sauce was just right
