Huge twist and honey bun
Very overpriced bread. The bread is not bad in taste, but you can get the taste at a much affordable price at any other panaderĆa in the south side.
Definitely not returning.
My mom and I tried a few conchaās, cookies, and other sweets. We werenāt very impressed as most items were stale, so thereās no telling how old they were.

I went in with my son, took about 4 minutes to get any help with no customers in sight. It was my second visit and both times the conchaās and sugar cookies were hard as a rock. It was just so disappointing.

Iām sorry but this place is nothing what I expected the pan dulce was close to making my veneers come off ! Had to throw it away . I was going to go back in a complain but was more embarrassed then the brick donuts we got. I am not the type to leave reviews but this is the only way to let it out me getting ripped off . People read the reviews first donāt waste your money .
Found this gem the other day and I'm obsessed! Delicious tamales and pastries with a trendy vibe. My daughter loved the atmosphere
Been coming for years and service is always great with friendly staff. The bread today was not good and found a little critter in the white concha. š¤®Threw away the rest of the bread - unfortunate.
Chica's, formerly Chico's, is a Southside institution. My family has been buying our pan dulce from here for 4 generations and we're not stopping anytime soon.
The new owners are really nice and communicative. Our kids love coming to pick out what they want.
This place used to be called Chicos and was fantastic. Now it's been renamed and rebranded. They don't only sell sweet bread so it is not their main focus and the bread is horribly hard and not good. Crazy over priced for mediocre sweet bread.
