When I complained about flavors for the dinner combo that included rangoon and soup, I was still charged for the rangoon even though it's part of the combo price. I work in the industry and will tell my associates and friends not to dine here since my concerns were not professionally handled.

I'm from the East Eoast and have had DOZENS of Chinese food locations before living in San Antonio. This is actually good location compared to the other spots I've had since living here. The food was made fresh, location was clean and family owned. Of all the Chinese spots I've had in San Antonio, this spot is top 10 for me!

The boy that waited on us didnt talk. no smile no customer service not even a thank you. Lemon chicken didnt taste like chicken. The lemon sauce and the orang sauce very watery. Lemon sauce didnt have any lemon flavor. Sorry to say i wont be back.

This restaurant has to be front as there is no way you can stay in business with food like this. I had the Sesame Chicken and the chicken was very dry and had the texture and consistency of chicken reheated in a microwave. The place was also empty which should have been a warning sign.

Got 2 orders of egg fuu yong. Was dry to much flower batter, tasted like old oil, rice was totally dry. Food not worth the money paid.

Stopped in today for take out. Walked in did not smell of food being cooked and the restaurant was completely empty. That should have been a sign. I orded orange chicken, sesame chicken and combination lo mein. The chicken is old and reheated more than we once. The fried rice is mushy and tasteless. Usually Chinese food have an amazing aroma, this food does not!!! I tried calling the restaurant to ask if I can bring this back. The owner said he responded he did speak English and bye bye...

Ever since I moved to Texas 4 years ago, I've been searching far and wide across the city for a good Chinese spot. I've tried easily over 30 different spots but none even come close to China Bristo. I placed a pickup order today and within 15 minutes it was ready. When I went in to pick it up, the lady at the counter made me feel very comfortable, some would say "at home". She suggested I have a seat while she finished boxing my food. Every single thing I ordered was an absolute delight. The dumplings 10/10, the crab ragoons to DIE for. This will be my go to spot going forward. Me and my wife absolutely loved it. Great atmosphere, great food, great people. A must for enjoyers of traditional Chinese cuisine.
