Once I stepped inside the restaurant I automatically could hear the music playing at a moderate level and the laughter of the customers. Right off the back the restaurant's ambiance had a positive it was a Saturday late afternoon. Mary Jane Burger and Brew is a localrestaurant trying to stay true to its past. The granddaughter of the original owner now runs the place with the intention of serving good quality food where the ingredients are fresh mouth watering, and surely not filled with antibiotics and all that other genetically modified elements found in processed foods. The vintagerustic looking place holds a small town atmosphere with a big tasteThe host sat my sister and I at a table in the middle of the dining area A giant window let sunlight flood into the room and the speakers provided a good backdrop of music to help engage conversation The restaurant itself seems fairly modern: leather seating, dark wood tables, and jar for glasses It is the epitome of a hang out spot for any teen, millennial, or elder meetup. The staff caters to the needs of the customers and are always ready to help out in any way possible. I started the meal off with a glass of sweet tea that never made it lower then the halfway point The waitress was always there with a pitcher of their home brewed sweet tea. The tea itself was not too sweet and the best part is the stuff and the condiment are vlaverful sorry I can't really spleel but I love food so much and I'm happy to give this feed back to who ever reads this thank you for thanking the time to look over my review I look forward to eating at more places and letting y'all know my opinion and the best price to eat around San Antonio have a beautiful day and I can water to tell y'all what food is good at the rodeo

The only reason I gave 1 star, is so I can leave the review. I went thru drive thru 12/18/22 at 8:45pm and no one took my order, as I drove up to the window, no one came to the window but I was able to see people inside which was a guy with the China Rose cap sitting at a table & 2 girls sitting at another table and I was only able to see that 1 of the girls had a China Rose cap. I called numerous times as I was outside but no one answered my call. As I was taking off, another car pulled up to order & they didn’t take that order either. Online it says they close at 9pm, that is totally losing money for the owner of China Rose. How many times have they turned down customers.

I am a big guy, and I do drive thru. Today I had the sweet and sour chicken with the fried rice and an egg roll. With a soft drink. So much food. Well I went there for the convenience, and price. Satisfied.

This place is over priced and not good quality. My kiddo wanted white rice and rangoons. It was over $22. If you want something fast and inexpensive, go somewhere else.

Maria the old lady cashier is always playing around you can literally hear her through the drive thru intercom then you have to wait forever to have your order taken then she is rude as hell I will not tolerate being talked to that way after waiting so long to order oh by the way she said hello hello ma'am I said hello why don't you answer what do you want I was so upset

Terrible service! Didn’t give us two orders of shrimp fried rice that we paid extra for or egg rolls. Went all the way back and told us we had to bring the plates back! And couldn’t give us the egg rolls at all. Horrible customer service. That manager should be fired
Food is so nasty. No flavor what's so ever. Rice was hard, beef had no taste.

The store was dirty and they told us we had to use their hand sanitizer instead of our own..They claimed it was store policy .. obviously we left ..they didn't even wipe the sanitizer nozzle pump off after someone used it .
