I recently visited Chinese Gourmet Express and was happy with what I ordered. Despite the 2.9 overall, the food was actually quite tasty. I received a pile of food for a low price. Although I wouldn't call this gourmet, it was good mall food court Chinese. Maybe I just went on a good day, but I'd come back.
The service wasn't the greatest but the food was phenomenal. Apparently dishes come with steamed rice and you have to ask for fried rice if you want it I have to process a second payment because I wasn't asked if I wanted fried rice. The food was fresh, hot, and steamy. It is at the mall so you can't expect the best of the best. I'd definitely recommend the food though!
Went here with my Sister 12/18. We both liked it. I ordered the Bourbon Chicken and Veggies, no rice. It was so GOOD that I went back a day later just to get thier food to go by myself. And then couple weeks later took another friend.....ate the same thing and still LOVING it!!!! Now today I find myself craving it yet again....Yum...planning to go back very soon.
