They really take their time doing everything BUT taking your order. Wish they would focus on the customers more than walking around. Also they skimp out on your protein, really don’t enjoy a rice and lettuce burrito. Please work on your portions and customer service.

Smallest portion. I’ve ever got.
They have great food but not all kinds
If you want a lot or less you just have to tell them.

I’ve eaten at this Chipotle location twice recently because I try to eat clean, gluten-free, and prefer places with less processed options, like Chipotle or Qdoba. The food here was fresh and tasted great, which is why I came back, and the bowl I ordered (white rice, double chicken, lettuce) was a good choice for my diet at a reasonable price point.
However, I noticed a consistent issue with cleanliness at this location. During both visits, the tables were sticky with rice, and there was visible trash on the floor. Having just been to a Chipotle in Illinois with similar cleanliness problems, it seems this could be a wider issue. For comparison, Qdoba and Chick-fil-A locations tend to keep their spaces spotless, even during busy times.
The service was okay, though very minimal—just food in the bowl without a greeting or a thank you. Chipotle is providing quality food, but improving cleanliness and customer interaction would make a big difference. I’d love to see this location take steps toward these improvements to create a better overall experience for customers in the Fort Sam Houston area.

Food is good the portion size in the burrito is awful. Came here with a group and ended up with a burrito for a kid it was so small. Maybe look at the gift card for a size reference.

Very pathetic quesadillas with cheese, minimum cheese, I ordered 3 side quesadillas and they charged me as a whole meal when in every other Chipotle I was charged for that as a side dish, 1 small quesadilla for $1.60. Big disappointment, I even went to the cashier to clarify this price changing, and was told whoever at the cashier makes up a price. So that means you never know the final price.

The food they sell you is very overrated, you literally pay almost $15 for rice and a teaspoon of meat, better go to an authentic Mexican restaurant to try the real food

Worst customer service.
Ordered online to pick up and save time, as one would.
I have never had an issue with any of their locations, so I didn't feel the need to check my husband and I's order.
We went home and opened it to find they messed up the order completely.
I tried calling but they use automated voice messaging systems so no employee or manager is able to answer the phone.
Which was also frustrating.
So we drive back and now have to wait for them to remake our order, and when they lady brings it out she tells me "the names were just switched on the bowls but the orders were right" in a condescending way, instead of saying "we apologize! we remade it all for you."
I didn't go back there and cause a scene despite how frustrated I was, I work in customer service, they were busy, i'm not gonna yell at them and waste not only their time, but my own.
I simply told the man at the register it was wrong, and he had them remake it.
So when she brings it out to me and makes it seem like it's MY fault, is soooo upsetting.
Because if that were the case, and the names were switched- I would not have gone back.
What was supposed to be a quick 10 min trip turned into a 30 min trip. Would've been better off just placing my order in line when I got there.
