The Manager and Drive thru Cashier were very polite and very attentive. By far one of the best customer service experiences we have had in a long time. The food was hot and fresh as well. Will definitely return. I did thank the manager for such a great job.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! The store is filthy, the staff was beyond rude down to the manager that was over the phone cussing at me because her rude staff messed up on my order & I wanted a refund. They are putting all the blame on the new guy in the drive thru that clearly has not been properly trained. VERY POOR WORK ETHIC & VERY RUDE AND SLOW STAFF!! In all my years of being in restaurant and management I have never in my life cussed a customer out because they wanted a refund. FIRE THE WHOLE STAFF except the chicken cook IN THE BACK & drive thru guy!!

Prices on drive-thru menu are old and incorrect. I ordered a 2-piece dark combo, and ordered okra as my side. They did not tell me that okra is not a side and would be an extra $3.29. They did not offer to add another side or tell me okra did not count. I waited a long time at the window to even be acknowledged, so I had plenty of time to notice how dirty & dusty the surface of the ledge was, and how old food spills had dribbled down below the ledge and never been cleaned off. I had plenty of time to wonder, as I waited - if the window ledge looks like that, what does the kitchen look like?! When I was told the total, it was about $2 more than the price on the drive-thru menu, plus the big up-charge for a tiny bag of burned okra no one told me about. When I tried to tell them their menu was out of date on pricing, they responded defensively. When I got my meal home, in addition to the burned tiny bag of okra, I found no honey biscuit at all, and the 2 pieces of chicken had half the crust knocked off. Very unsatisfactory experience, not as advertised or pictured, complete zero customer service or friendliness - I will never return to this or any other Church's.

Every single time we’ve been here we’re always missing one thing, today they claimed to put 3 things of corn in our bag and not a single one was there & then decided to argue back and forth saying they did put it in there. Bad customer service & terrible organization skills.

Unfortunately, this is the closest location to me, but if you’re ever in a hurry or you’re expecting to have quick service, this is not the place. Also kind of unfriendly and a little unprofessional at times.

My family and I decided we'd get Church's Chicken this evening. It was a disappointment. You pay about $40 for a twelve piece and pay the upcharge to get mixed pieces with sides and you expect everything to be fresh and hot. We live about 5 to 7 minutes away and when we got home the chicken was warm (not hot) and very dry - tasted old, the biscuits where hard and crunchy, the okra was not warm, I couldn't even stand it with a fork because it was so hard, and tasted like it had been sitting out all day. The only thing that was hot were the instant mashed potatoes. We took the food back and asked for a refund and the lady at the cash register got confrontational along with one of the cooks. They gave us a refund for everything but the mashed potatoes which is fine. We will never go back, especially with the very rude staff! So sad for a San Antonio original.

This location is not dependable and is unreliable. They need to be better prepared. Stopped by the drive thru and was told that if I’m ordering chicken it would be 20 minutes (as if people frequently go to Church’s for a chicken-free dinner). KFC made the sale this night.
Also the drive thru is gated so if you go in through the front left or side entrance you cannot get to the drive thru without making a u-turn on the main road.
