Will first of all we waited awhile for our food.. I ordered 15 pc chicken strips with the two sides of mashed potatoes. I also ordered a side of family fries, and a portion of my coleslaw that I was looking forward to, and I had a coupon for my pies. fortunately, there was no coleslaw when I got home.🧐 I called them. Of course they think you are going to leave your food and go all the way back to pick up what they forgot to pack up.I do have my receipt, (but they’re like oh well like too bad for me)it kinda makes me upset because I waited patiently and couldn’t wait to eat my coleslaw, but I would think he would say over the phone. I’m so sorry ma’am we make it up to you when you come back again.we will make it a large coleslaw that would be the right thing to do.i have no intentions of driving all the way out, Potranco with the traffic in the rain for a portion of coleslaw. but when I’m in the area, it would be nice if they did give me a large one for forgetting to pack my small one. you should always try to keep your customers happy we should come first and it’s your fault. I did pay for it.we all make mistakes but fix it so we will keep the business going.

How do y’all only make chicken and never have chicken ready? You can order online or even come at the slowest time of day and they still make you wait 10+ mins. They should call this place ā€œChurch’s Pray You Get Your Chicken on Time Even Though You Ain’t Gonna Chickenā€

I grabbed lunch between errands and, wow, finally got those spicy tenders! The drive-thru mic was out, so I ordered at the window. The girl was super nice, and my food came quickly. The tenders and coleslaw were great and really filling. They seemed a bit smaller this time, but still tasty. I'd go back.

Church’s Chicken: Crispy, Juicy, and Always Worth the Trip

Church’s Chicken isn’t just a fast-food stop — it’s a comfort food experience I keep coming back to. From the very first bite, you know you’re getting real flavor. That signature golden, crispy coating with the perfectly seasoned, juicy chicken underneath? Unmatched. It’s the kind of meal that hits the spot every single time, whether I’m on my lunch break or treating myself after a long day.

Let’s not forget the sides — those honey-butter biscuits are dangerously addictive (I’ve definitely gone back just for those), and the mashed potatoes with gravy are pure soul food. Everything tastes freshly made, and the portions are always generous.

But what really keeps me coming back is the service. Every time I’ve visited, the staff has been friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. It feels good to walk into a place where they remember your face and take pride in the food they serve. You can tell it’s more than just a job — it’s a team that cares.

Now, here’s my pitch: As someone who’s practically a Church’s Chicken regular, a loyal fan who’s introduced at least half a dozen friends to your menu (yes, I’m converting people one biscuit at a time), I’d love to be considered for a gift card from the manager — as a thank-you for all the love I’ve shown to this amazing spot. Trust me, I’ll keep spreading the good word — and ordering extra biscuits.

Drive thru customer. I paid for my food at 3:29pm and didn’t receive it until after 4 PM. After paying for my food, they told me to park in the front and someone would bring my food out. After about 20 minutes of waiting and seeing about 7 other drive thru customers who were behind me receive their food, I first, tried calling the store since the front door was locked, but there was no answer. I then tried knocking on the front door (which, per note on door, was locked due to being short-staffed) to get staff’s attention to let them know I was still waiting for my food and to make sure they didn’t forget about me since a bunch of other customers who arrived AFTER me were receiving their food. All three staff members, including the manager, looked directly at me several times, but no one approached the door to see what I needed! I knocked for about 10 mins and they all just completely IGNORED me, which I felt was extremely RUDE! I understood they were short-staffed- it happens- but all I wanted was an update as to how much longer it would be and to make sure they remembered I was still waiting for my order, but they all just stared at me and ignored me! Since I couldn’t get through on the phone or by knocking on the door, I had no choice but to walk to the drive thru window. Turns out, another customer had to walk to the window too to check on their order. I still couldn’t speak to the staff, but I’m sure they heard me telling the other customer that at this point, I had been waiting for 30mins because she looked through the drive-through window and said she saw a staff member walking to the front door with a bag of food. After an additional 2 minutes, someone finally brought my food out!
I don’t write reviews much, but feel I had to because this is ridiculous how I couldn’t even walk in the store or reach someone on the phone to check in on my order, and especially how I had to check in with them since none of them thought to check in with me. And the different means I used to try to contact them, they completely ignored me and I find that very rude and a lack of customer service! All I wanted was an update, even if they were to say it’d be another 5-10 mins for my food and I would’ve understood. I’m a VERY patient and understanding person, but what they did and how rude they were angered me deeply!! Not to mention, my coleslaw was only filled halfway. At first it appeared to be 3/4 full, but then I tapped the container on the counter to settle it and it fell to halfway!! It was a large for the family meal- good thing I’m the only one in my family who likes coleslaw. The 2 stars is only because the chicken tasted good.

I had lost all hope on Church's chicken until I ordered pick up from this location. I placed an order online and when I showed up it was ready and everything was perfect. I live in alamo ranch and would go to the Church's off culebra, and it was always disappointing and gross. I tried this location and was pleasantly surprised. Shout out to the employees and managers making that possible. I'll gladly drive an extra 15 minutes for great service and delicious food.

Speed is not important here. I hate hate hate coming to any Church's because speed is not a factor when it comes to their service in general. However, my husband likes their fried okra so I come here and wait. I think it's a rule that any Church's chicken has to be slow and never have what you want available at the time of odering.
