Church's Texas Chicken

Speed is not important here. I hate hate hate coming to any Church's because speed is not a factor when it comes to their service in general. However, my husband likes their fried okra so I come here and wait. I think it's a rule that any Church's chicken has to be slow and never have what you want available at the time of odering.

I'm new to this area and decided to try the closest Church’s near me. I have to say that this was the worst appearance I've ever had!!! The tenders didn't even look like chicken! It was dried up chicken jerky!!! What sane person even serves this to a human being??? I wouldn't even serve this to my dog! I was extremely disappointed and also hungry due to the food being inedible!!! I hate to waste my hard earned money, and that's exactly what happened!!! I tried calling, and no one answered the phone. What happened to great food & customer service nowadays???!!!

I went through the drive through for a simple 3 piece combo. There were two cars ahead of me and I ended up waiting for 15-20 minutes. I was just about to pull off but a car came up behind me and trapped me in.
When I got to the window there was no apology for the wait, no excuse or anything. Just "Your total is 13.??". I ordered a sprite and their syrup was out which is not a big deal but then the Coke I got was also pretty flat and gross. The chicken was ok but the fries were super salty. The best part was the biscuit.
All this and I still waited about 5 minutes for my food when I got to the window. It just makes me wonder WHAT AM I PAYING $13 for?! For mediocre food and service? It's been years since I've been to this Church's and I quickly remembered why.

Churches never let's you down. Just know that for those of us who like white gravy with your tenders, it is not available nationwide. In certain states they will look at you like you are crazy if you ask for it

I am a consumer who likes to
sometimes. if I have the budget
It's either buy food to make at home or take out.especially on friday.so we decided on chicken
Either Bill miller or churches.
So it's church's .So I go get chicken.I order a special 10 piece chicken with 🍟 and 6 biscuits and 4 portion of coleslaw.And it came out to be under 40 dollars not bad.Save couple dollars.So I go home
Inspect the chicken. Thigh piece is big.but chicken leg looks a buffalo wing small.
My grandson stated hey dad this chicken leg is small it's not filling me up.then he goes to say Bill miller has bigger chicken legs we should have go their.but Bill miller would been more expensive.may next time
Then I find out . their are to kind of churches chicken here in San Antonio it's Texas churches chicken and their is regular churches chicken WOW who figure that. No wonder
Now if want to save money
Go to Texas churches chicken
And get small pieces
The saying goes you get what you pay for

The absolute worst chicken ever, I swear if they give it away, I want go back

Placed an online order for pickup. Get there, two folks inside waiting, couple cars in the drive thru. Tell them my name, "working on it" ok... The car leaves the drive through. Someone comes in, gets a cup for water the two folks inside head out. Fella looks at me "just a minute on that order". Ok.
Someone else comes in to pick up an order, oddly enough for the same name as me. The guy looks at us "you're both here for an" order. Checks the food warmer, finds my order.... Really? Never thought to check that when I walked earlier? Just doped a long making other orders but never checked the food warmer?
Ended up with luke warm nearly cold food. Not going to be a repeat customer if you forget where you put orders...

Chicken was dryer than sandpaper; only thing dryer than the chicken was the customer service in both drive through and in the lobby. Hopefully the staff are having a better day today.

The new Fiesta Chicken is 🔥!!!! The service was good and the food was nice and hot. The corn on the cob, though, is less than desirable.

The customer service was awesome. I was greeted by everyone when I walked in and felt really welcomed. I received my food quickly and it tasted really good, hot, and fresh. I always get sweet tea and it's always really good. The only downfall I've noticed is they are often short-staffed which sometimes leads to mistakes or the employees being overworked and stressed, but if you can understand this and have compassion with the employees, you can have a good experience.

This place is garbage. You don't get what you order, chicken is dry, and how you mess up mac and cheese is beyond me. Threw everything away. Absolutely disgusting!!

No customer service, they take forever, food is not fresh, the speaker is always broken. I don’t expect top tier customer service but at least a thank you would be nice.
