Church's Texas Chicken

I drove up to the drive through at 10:19pm and no one said anything through the box. I asked if it was closed and didn't get a response. I drove up to the wi dow and the cashier was counting the money. She saw me and motioned they were closed, even though Google and the signs posted said the drive through closes at 11pm. Unreliable.

Went last night about 9ish and ordered 2 piece meal and Bommers . Old fries old chicken old Bommers . Worse meal ever. Gave it to my dogs. My dogs couldn’t chew the fries.

I ordered me and my mom food after a long day of running errands and I order the 2 for $4 chicken sandwiches and when I went to get my order I had 2 extremely small sandwiches made with HEB frozen chicken patties and not the original fried boneless chicken they normal used. I was disappointed with the answer I was given When asked what was this. I was told that corporate downsized and changed product due to inflation and food cost and that's the reason why the sandwiches were on special. It's a down right scam what churches has advertised to there customers and should be ashamed of themselves for even selling such ridiculous disgusting overcooked food. The churches on San Pedro Ave seems to make sure they take care of there customers while providing decadent fresh and hot food to there customers. Extremely disappointed and I will no longer be going to this establishment.

Went to get food at 10:16pm and there was 6 pieces of chicken and some tenders but no biscuits 😑 “it comes with two gravies but there’s none; I can give you chicken but there’s only…” 🙅🏽‍♀️

They forgot my side, were slow to take orders and they closed their dining room early. I understand being short staff but please communicate properly so customers aren’t left feeling a certain way!

For them to not have had any customers the order itself took almost 20 mins. That's not including the time at the speaker just to have to go to the window and order because it wasn't working and then waiting for someone to come to the window lol.

Had the worst experience at this location and was surprised at the lack of customer service and attitude displayed by the young lady who answered my call to voice my displeasure. Instead of being apologetic and insisting on replacing my order. I was told there was not a manager available until tomorrow and she would not be able to take any calls. I said I paid for a 3pc all white and was given a a wing, breast and thigh. She was very curt and combative as if I did something wrong. She ARGUED that I was wrong and that I mistook the thigh and that she insisted she packed the pieces herself. I asked to have total order be replaced fresh since I had to return for their error. She said bring it back but it would be 20 minutes to replace fresh. I drove back and she again was combative and said she would have to drop fries and jalapeño poppers and replace the three pieces with what was available. Waited and finally received my food, she again was argumentative that I mistakenly identified the said piece as a thigh and that it was a breast. Still no apology and defiant that I being a fifty one year old man who has worked in the food industry did not know what I was talking about. I thanked her and left. I will never give this location my hard earned money or business as long as they have people like that representing your company. Sad and very disappointed in todays mistreatment of a paying customer. Do better, always do better.

Overall, the food was the quality I've come to expect, which is extremely good. My main complaint is that when I went,(11/14/2024 at 7:49PM) I gave the server a coupon, which they said they couldn't accept. (16 Pieces for $19.99) I find it strange that they couldn't accept the coupon, but even worse is that I wasn't given my coupon back? I could have used it at another location on a separate date, but because I didn't get it back, it severely hindered my overall hopes for that. Otherwise, like I said at the beginning of my review, the food was good, but I would just rather get my coupon back next time, if it can't be accepted.
