Fun atmosphere, great service, amazing food! Can’t wait to come back

We love the upscale dining at Clementine. The menu is always unique and done to perfection with fresh locally sourced ingredients. A perfect date night or a family celebration....then when you are full with delicious food... gourmet dessert! wow, another amazing experience. A must for all San Antonio area!

The food was probably the best upscale restaurant food that I've had in San Antonio. This restaurant is worthy of its #2 ranking in the San Antonio Express. The sauces were excellent and paired well with the food. I went on their monthly Friday Prix Fixe lunch and it was well worth the $59 pp price. Will be going there regularly.
However, there are two things that I wish Clementine will improve on. 1) The descriptions in the menu. The names and descriptions in the menu do not do the food justice nor is it even accurate. I think the names and descriptions in the Friday lunch I had were more enticing than their regular menu. I cannot imagine that their regular dinner menu is not better, but their names and descriptions don't make them seem like it. 2) I understand that this is not a Michelin Star restaurant but with this caliber of food, why not? In that vein, while the waiter was super nice, I wish he would have described and explained the food. We got our dishes and there was no explanation, especially in light of the inadequate menu descriptions. There was one dish where after I finished the food, I then realized that the sauce drizzled around the plate was different from what was on the food. The colors were similar so it was not obvious that they were not the same. So, I ate it thinking that it was a little bland, but after eating, I happened to takes the drizzled sauce to see what the sauce was and was shocked to see that it was a different sauce and the food would have been MUCH better, had the waiter told me how to eat the dish and had I applied more sauce to the food. It was disappointing because I felt that I missed enjoying the wonderful dish the way the chef intended. There were other dishes that I wish the waiter explained the different parts of the dish and how to eat it.

I recently came from New Orleans to surprise My Girlfriend that arrived with her daughter, The Entire staff was so helpful assisting me with this surprise, And The food,OMG, Everything Was Amazing, Thank You for helping with This Very Special Occasion, I will Remember it Forever ❤️

This place is amazing…. Super easy to make a reservation on open table… was greeted immediately by the host…. Had the oysters and the tart to start off then they brought out the mackerel dish and the steak dish… the waitress was super attentive and we enjoyed all of her recommendations …. Oh and the dessert was out of this world…. You have to try it!

This was a transcending experience!! The dishes will blow your mind! And if you are vegetarian…mind blown! The cohesiveness of the dishes were delightful! We literally shook the chef’s hand!

I recently dined at Clementine and ordered the "Feed Me" menu, and honestly, it was a huge disappointment. For almost $200 total, I expected a well-thought-out and satisfying meal. Instead, we got six courses, four of which were random vegetable dishes, one was a tiny piece of salmon that we had to share, and one was dessert. All served family-style, which just made the small portions feel even more frustrating.
The flavors were all over the place—random and clashing. It felt like they just threw ingredients together without any consideration for how they’d work as a whole. I left feeling ripped off and unsatisfied. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant and was extremely pleased. They are doing it right. When I find a restaurant that has a menu that intrigues me, I create my own rating experience and order everything. The Beet salad was awesome. The the swordfish was prepared perfectly. The ricotta cavatelli ??. The Desserts ?. I was only in San Antonio for a short time, but this dining experience was memorable. I'll be back to order the other half of the menu, but I was told it's a seasonal menu, so when I get back, I'm open to trying what ever the chef puts on the menu.

We went to clementine for dinner and liked it. They had good food, but not too many options for children. I would recommend it to others. If you like the McDonalds apple pies you should DEFINITELY get the hand pies they were the highlight of our meal and we loved them! I would go back just for them.
