My husband didn’t enjoy his first drink and asked to exchange it for a latte. The gentleman at the front counter was so sweet and amazing ! He replaced the drink and 2 mins later our food came out. We enjoyed the omelette and waffles. I don’t know what San Antonio puts in the air to make every thing you do an experience. But it’s apart of what I love about this city!

they guy that took my order was very kind however the barista had a passive aggressive attitude problem :( This is a small restaurant, I was looking for a chill and cozy cafe experience and this was def not it. It was very loud and packed to the brim. It’s not a place I would come to study. No matter how quality the food is, I won’t be coming back to a spot that essentially corrals its customers by making you pay for overpriced food at a counter and then making you go pick up your own food at a counter again. Like, genuinely, for the price you pay you could be going to another quality restaurant that will service you. That’s one thing chain restaurants have right, I guess.

What a gem! Park around back because you will not find parking in the front. When you walk in, be prepared for super cute and busy place. I ordered the scrambled eggs on a bagel and a plain drip coffee. Both were delicious and way better than I expected. I ate it too fast to take photos

Coffee was pretty good, but we saw 2 people cutting the fruit with no gloves on and as people who work in the food business we like things to be pretty sanitary. The barista was nice though.
The food although looks pretty was kind of bland. The chicken was fair but I expected some flavor to the sauce. It was kind of watered down.
The drink wasn't as tasty as it looked. It was like berry water and thats all.
The atmosphere was great though. How i'd expect a coffee shop to be.
The service wasn't bad either. They got down to business which I like.
Would i go again??? Sure but to try something different both in food and drinks.

After being back in the U.S. for nearly six months—after living in Europe for more than seven years—I’ve been searching for a place that brings back that authentic feel. I finally found it. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, the food is amazing, and the crew is genuinely wonderful.
And the best part? They serve real Belgian waffles, just like the ones I used to enjoy abroad—crispy, authentic, and topped with delicious fruit jam. Such a treat!
Highly recommended for anyone craving a true European café experience.

We stoped here after a day of business and it was fantastic! Everyone greeted you with a smile! Everyone was polite. Even the gentleman that came by and collected our dishes had a smile on his face and that’s the sort of “little things” that matters most to us. We all know there are days where you just aren’t into it but if that’s the type of culture the ownership/management has fostered and the teammates got behind it, this business is absolutely worth frequenting to support this team! We’re recommending it to all of our teammates that come to town in the future. Oh yea (the other important things haha), the atmosphere was great! So many different personalities were in there at once, having conversations, and it was like you couldn’t hear anyone else’s conversation. The aesthetic was on point as well, the place has such a cozy vibe. The music was great, wasn’t too loud at all. The presentation of the items for sale and the menu were great too. A lot of us are visual beings, so being able to see some of the items behind the glass and on the menu was very helpful! We ordered chocolate chip/cranberry muffins and papaya bowl! Soooo tasty! We will be back here every month for sure! Thanks guys!🤠
