Okay people listen to this. My friends and I came here to have a good girly brunch. It was our first time here. We joined the waitlist 10 minutes before showing up. We got there around 11:30, found out this place was cash only, like cool okay I guess….after that WE WAITED ALMOST 2 HOURS FOR OUR TABLE. we were getting hangry any my back and butt was hurting from waiting sooo long. Finally after a decade later they called us. It was like a miracle. But then waiting for our drinks and food was like waiting at a doctors office. My waiter ONLY PUT 3 ICE CUBES IN MY WATER. THAT IS THREE. And the waiter DROPPED MY SANDWICH. Food is okay. We liked the environment. But gosh dang that wait killed it for us. It’s not all the hype.

Atmosphere 5/5: It's my favorite breakfast place in San Antonio! There's a dip down in the road by the highway, and you drive down the road a ways. Gorgeous scenery, there are walking paths and other shops open later.Food 5/5: Lemon blueberry pancakes, then crabby benny and texas benny. Payment by CASH ONLY and it's donation based. $15 recommended + $5 for extra items.Service 5/5: Lovely people, quick service. They even ask your name when you order and remember it.Parking: Lines are thin

Everything was absolutely amazing! I heard there was a wait so I put our group on the waiting list before we left our house. We sat on the patio because the weather was gorgeous. All of the service was so amazing and attentive - our drinks stayed full and there was always someone around if we needed something. We enjoyed a coffee while we waited for our table. All the food was good - we enjoyed omlettes, eggs Benedict and stuffed French toast.

The food & the coffee drinks are fantastic, but the service is slow which can be I went on the weekend which is busy since most people are off. Probably better to go on the weekdays to maybe less busy.

Very interesting place. We found it by accident driving through. It sits back in a wooded area on a half way house/ treatment facility. At first we thought we were lost but there were plenty of people waiting. Most all of the staff are recovering or recovered addicts or those with other issues. That being said, EVERYONE was polite and the waisted was awesome. The atmosphere is what you'd expect to see in Mexico to be honest; very cool experience. First thing you find out on the menu is that the are no prices because it's literally, "pay what you can afford" but they suggest $15 per meal if you can swing it. I got the jalapeno popper omelette and the wife, the ham and cheese omelette i got the hash brown casserole and the wife got the regular hash browns. Im happy to report, all of our food was excellent. The only small complaint was i had ordered orange juice and they literally brought it in a glass not much bigger than a shot glass.. Please upsize your orange juice glasses. At the end we paid the suggested $15 each and left a $20 tip because all of the money goes right back into the treatment program. All in all, the did and experience was great, we'll be back.

Disappointed. They won’t even tell you if they ran out of whatever side you ordered. They will just bring your plan boring food with a bag of lays chips.

No better place to have brunch with family and friends. Huge portions and an obeisance of joy. Plus a nice trail and river to walk. Stores to look through and beautiful nature filled campus.

Recommended!! Wonderful food and this location is in a lovely spot in San Antonio that you'll truly enjoy on its own. The food and service were wonderful. We got there a little before they opened to get a table without a wait. By 8 there was a short line of people waiting for opening.Florentine Benny and the Scrambler we ordered were delicious! The restaurant was not busy this morning but we felt a little rushed anyways. This was the one slight detraction from the enjoyment of our visit.ATM on site was very helpful since they're a cash or check only establishment.

To start, highly recommend making a reservation 2 to 3 hours ahead. For example, we made a reservation and didn't get a seat until 5 hours later. Besides the wait, I have nothing but positive things to say. The food is amazing compared to chains! There are plenty of options. The customer service is second to none!! Place was clean and the area is a dream if you like scenic views! It is a pay what you want but you naturally will want to over on the amazing staff!!!Parking: very Limited
