Decided to try this place sense it had decent stars at the time the place was alright little out dated but it was five until we sat down and waited about 15 minutes to before the Lady even looked at us she had a conversation going with some one that was paying so we decided to wait a couple more minutes and the guy besides us ordered some more tortillas and had to literally stand up and and ask for some then she put the order inn and kept talking and was handling money and change the mans tortillas were up and she literally got them barehanded and took them to him without washing after touching money well we were out of there that moment.

2/22/20 Sat. 10am.. 2 time Blue Plate Winner ?! It's a cozy little place about 16 or so tables and it's busy so no open tables until one opens so your sharing a table and a cool idea your never know when you'll find a new friend or two? So the lady behind the cashier she. happens to be the cashier, waitress, bus girl!! I couldn't believe this older lady working as hard as she was, some orders were late when taken and food took a while but all food is made fresh somethings were forgotten but not for long some people had to wait more than 20 minutes before an order was taken and that happened when people were leaving and coming in and some of the tables were not cleaned, however some people bussed there own table which made it easier for her? My oatmeal came first and it was hot and so good on a cold day! We ordered the fluffy pancakes and eggs, so they were so good and hot, the eggs were small but so good bacon and eggs toast oj! Another thing that is different is their bathroom, they have them however there outside of the restaurant! So there behind the restaurant and they are very clean plenty of soap and paper towels and tp! It does have a key that you ask for that way people that aren't patronizing the restaurant wont use them as just a public restroom!! It made me laugh. I will come back and if need be I'll bus her table again, this lady was incredible not once did she get upset or was rude to the same lady that asked could you take my order and when will I get my order soon! She didn't seem stressed or in anyway frustrated with anybody or how busy the restaurant had become! And when it was time to pay she didn't want to take the extra $5 I was giving her because we had bussed our table and my neighbor had given her $3 already which was not enough!

Home cooked meal, if you're in a hurry, don't stop here. I drive from Austin to San Antonio just to eat there, for me, it's well worth the drive.
