They don't serve food, but Ryan will likely direct you to several good restaurants. He is the kind of bartender with whom people tend more information than they intend. Ask him about the Grunt T-shirt shop.
Cowabunga is definitely a "Dive Bar", but without a doubt one of the greatest Dive Bars you'll ever visit. I was just a tourist and they made me feel like a local - both Ryan and Claudia will bend over backwards to make you feel welcome! This place is a diamond in the rough for certain!!!
This is a bar only. Food is not served here. It is a LGBT friendly hang out bar to enjoy some juke box music and have some drinks. I consider it like a starter bar. It is a good place to start your night out with. But who knows you might end up staying all night there.
