We waited 45 minutes got there at 11:15 a.m people were being served after coming to eat after us at least 3 different tables. We had to get a host to find out where are food was .

The service was great! But the food has diminished in quality over the years. Ive always ordered the grandpa chicken fried chicken plate and it used to be a huge piece of chicken and the serving would fill up the whole plate, it was a great size for the price. I ordered this plate again recently and the whole serving was only half the plate which was 2 eggs, a hashbrown casserole and the fried chicken. Definitely not worth the price anymore.

I have a feeling that our waitress had personal issues before approaching my table. She was cranky and pushy. The staff needs to remember to keep their personal issues at home and their work issues to themselves. My friend that was with me has dementia which we do not have to tell the staff. Every customer should be treated with the highest level of respect. The waitress kept rushing my friend to order. The dining area was maybe 3/4 full, but there was enough staff to see that everything was running smoothly. This young lady might have needed a break, I’m not making excuses but am grateful that the staff manager took over for her. The 2 hours that we spent there came out to a good ending.

Service was extremely slow and unattentive, food arrived cold, Mac and cheese was terrible ordered fried pickles and got dill flavored over fried batter. May go back to shop but not eat.

My fiancé & I went to eat here and usually the wait is pretty long but this time we got seated quickly. We got our menus and sat there for about 10-15 minutes without a waitress to take our drink or food order. Yet there were 2 waitresses who kept walking by us and serving about 4 other tables with people who came after us and getting their drinks and food. You would think one of them would have the courtesy to ask if we had been waited on We ended up moving to another side with a different waiter named Harvey. He had only 3 stars on his apron but honestly he deserves 5. Even though we weren’t even seated on his side he came to us and took our order and got us refills when we needed them. Excellent waiter even after having to pick up the slack of other people!! After we moved to the other side another man was seated at the exact same table we were at and the waitress ran to him right away to take his order. The manager did end up coming up to us to apologize about the waitress because apparently she “didn’t know that was her table”. Plus I’m pretty sure these waitresses know what tables are theirs as soon as they start their shift unless the hostess just wasn’t doing her job properly. Then the hostess had the audacity to continue to stare at my fiancé and I giving us ugly looks the entire time while we were trying to eat making us both very uncomfortable. We will not be returning to this Cracker Barrel anymore.
Waitress was very pleasant and kind. She did mess up on my mom's order but she quickly took care of the problem. Food was delicious
