For starters, I rarely give any scores lower than a 3, however.... I ordered the catfish plate with country greens and corn off the cob with a baked sweet potato and hush puppies. The fried fish was soggy and had no crunch to it and tasted horrible, the country greens tasted like they were straight out of the can and heated up without any seasoning , the corn was way over cooked and mushy & spongy. The sweet potato never made it to the table but I sampled my friends that she ordered and it wasn't to my liking and the hush puppies were over cooked. I felt as if the cook or so called cooks were children. I have eaten there before and had a good experience with the country fried steak and veggies I had, this experience was just a bad one. The waitress was great though!

Have no idea where the line starts for the cashier, who then waited till you think your next to be told to move over.Waitress got 2 of 4 meals wrong.2 drinks wrong and spilled water on table during refill. We did not get utensils till after meals were brought out. Then even mixed up the meals on the 2 tickets. 1 person paid for both tickets so that didn't matter. Believe she was new but someone should have been helping her.

Usually the food I have here is good; however, I have to say that this morning I went there, got a table, and sat there for 15 minutes and no one came to my table, or really even acknowledged I was there. I finally got up and left. Such a disappointment.

Came in early, for breakfast, no wait. Had the Hashbrown casserole. Yum! Yum! Yum! No, seriously, get it if you haven't. Order as a side if you get something else. Coffee was good, not bitter or too strong. It's an Americana atmosphere. Lots of unique stuff in the shot. I'll be back.

Was over looked at seating when addressed I was seated at a dirty table . Asked if I could move I did got no server had to walk to the front asked for mgr . He came out reseated me took my order assured me things would be better . (NOT) when food finally came out cold had no silver ware had to butter my semi warm biscuits with tea spoon . Finally got someone to bring me silverware and no napkin didn’t get the napkin until almost done with very cold breakfast. One of my most favorite places to go . But last two times has been very disappointing . Not so sure I will return definitely won’t be to the location I went to . Everything was cold and service was horrible …..

When you want to experience a true American food on a true American/Texan decorated restaurant. THIS is the place you want to come, but JUST for the experience. Now, the no so happy part.....Today I visited with some friends for lunch and it was DISAPPOINTING. The food was cold but the plate was super hot (maybe the microwave needs to be checked), flavorless on top of that and the presentation needs to be improved.I have had breakfast here before, and I have to say, it was very good and exactly what you would expect of an American breakfast. That being said, lunch was such a let down.I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was a one time mistake....but, honestly, I will not be spending my money again to find out if that's the case.Kid-friendliness: All kids are welcome.

Was seated pretty quickly. My server seemed a bit overwhelmed. Was a busy late Saturday morning. My food was disappointing, took forever and even the plating looked like they threw it from the back of the kitchen and landed on a plate. The pancakes were good. I’m still waiting on my hash brown casserole and napkins…Probably won’t return to this location but I do like their food when they get it right.

1. Fork & Knife packets were not clean. It took 3 sets before I cleaned the 4th one myself. 2. Broccoli was good. Green beens were so over cooked that the color and appearance made them inedible. 3. Unhealthy excessive batter camouflaged the chicken and made the chicken breast a bit tough. 4. Server was polite, but he had too many tables assigned to him which resulted in him forgetting to provide napkins and which delayed him bringing Tabasco sauce until I was already half finished with my meal. 5. The restaurant needs a deep cleaning. 6. The shopping area is the best part of Cracker Barrel. Thank you for continuing to carry the Blue Mountain Arts line. The price point is very reasonable on the products you sell.
