It was good. I got heartburn later that evening from the chicken and the seasonings so I won’t be going back but hopefully it doesn’t do that to other people. I definitely recommend giving it a try because it was good. Ask for a side of coop sauce! They put a little on your sandwich depending which one you get I think, but it’s not enough to taste. I ordered the caliente boy and it comes with cole slaw on it but I’m not a huge fan so I ordered it on the side and it was really good! They’re pretty big so 1 should get you full unless you normally have a bigger appetite like my partner who got 2 sandwiches. I can’t remember which 2 he ordered but he liked them and he did not get heartburn later like I did haha

The food is awful. I had gotten the mac miller. So i got a little bit of everything. The mac was awful, the fries were awful and the chicken was not good at all. They talk crap about Pete’s chicken shack when in reality they are better than crispy boys. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. Oh service was rude. Didnt seem to be enjoying it unlike petes chicken shack where they are nice

Last night I had the chance to try a plate of the loaded fries and chose the Mac and cheese with crispy jalapeno option. My sisters and I LOVED it. So delicious and satisfying. I will definitely try more from this spot again!

Dietary restrictions: the chicken was decent but not the best. the fries were way too salty.i woke up the next day with food poisoning that lasted for two days. on top of that, the guy that takes the orders was very unprofessional and made a couple of inappropriate comments in front of a line of customers and he just laughed it off. i wouldn’t go again, the salty fries just didn’t make up for the guys attitude.

So I had been craving Pete’s Hot Chicken ever since they left El Camino. And me being such a sack of sadness, I am not willing to drive 3 blocks down the road for delicious chicken. But finally El Camino found a way to fill my empty chickenless heart. Crispy boys is everything I want out of a tender joint. Big tender portions, loads of sauces.m, and the Bonuts are amazing. Will be coming here more often.
