Another restaurants that’s been on my list due to all the accolades it’s gotten. Their menu is simple and isnt over the top by any means (other than the caviar stuff) so wasn’t sure what to expect. Fantastic atmosphere and feel of this gem of a restaurant and a definite must try for anyone trying the best eateries in San Antonio. I ordered the burger with bacon. Unfortunately I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked thus the burger came out a bit over cooked. We also ordered the escargot. There were 6 perfectly tasting tender snails accompanied by toasted bread. We were only given 1 small fork to dig out the snail from the shell and had to ask for another one. There aren't...
spectacular! hands down favorite breakfast, I always order the truffle eggs & toast and the caesar salad for lunch. If you’re lucky you can grab a spot at the chefs table and get lost in the beautiful art the kitchen performs creating simple yet delicious entrees. don’t forget the bubbles and spudnuts! ps the jazz music playing throughout the restaurant will have you wanting to stay longer and order more bubbles 🥂
