“Although the staff seems to be limited, the ladies who are working here provided me excellent service! With flavors/items that were out of stock, I still left happy because of how I was treated by the cashier and the associate from the back who brought me my order. I rarely go to fast food joints and haven’t stepped into a DQ in years, but I’m glad I came into this one!“

Even when he’s busy assisting other customers, he never fails to greet us with a warm welcome. “This is our family’s favorite DQ. Every time we come here, I see all the employees working hard to get orders out quickly, and they’re always on top of things. There’s actually a DQ closer to us, but we drive a little farther to this one because the service is just better. We really notice and appreciate the effort. They keep us coming back! Plus, we've never had any issues with our orders here.“
“The reason I am not giving 5 stars is due to the staff. The young man (Isaac), who took my order, did it all correct. When I received my food, I was missing some of my strips. I went back to the register to tell him. He tells the staff who are making the food. The girl (young african american girl) proceeds to tell him, "What mistake did you make now?" She was rude to tell him that. HE did not make the error. Whoever finalized the order did the error. I've been there several times when she is working and has almost spoken rude to other staff. She is not very professional. She needs to learn how to be restful and learn manners.“
“This is one of THE CLEANEST locations I've seen. I was greeted with a smile when I came in, good conversation how I grew up right at the house literally across the street and how nice it is to visit one of my favorite places as a kid. I would come in for ice cream and even then back then was welcomed. Well, it felt like home all over again!! Thank you ? for such a great lunch visit Jonny!“
“Snooze & you might pass this entry. Off Fredericksburg Rd. past Callaghan Rd & right before you get to Louis Pasteur Rd, its snuggled in the left, partially hidden by the Studio/Motel 6. Turn left & drive thru is right there pretty much. There tends to be alot of homeless people around the Shell & behind it so just be vigilante & remain aware. (hence the 4) The drive thru is kind of tight but I think it's worth it as the food & service are great! I took advantage of their $7 meal deal. You get a Burger, fries, drink AND a Sundae...you can't go wrong with that!! Not sure if it was a Hunger buster as it seemed a tad small, but it wasn't OVERLY tiny either. Also, they have RED onions....my fave! Drive thru was quick, food was FRESH, & my Caramel Sundae was Yumm!! Overall a Great experience for me. Thank you Dairy Queen. I WILL be back. I hear they have GREAT TACOS & I think its on Wednesdays! Perhaps I'll go 2morrow. Stay tuned!!! 🙏🏼❤️🤍💙🍔🍟🍦🌮🥰“
“This place is great, everytime I go here the food is excellent and the service is great. The manager was very kind and she went out of her way to make sure my experience was a good one. And compliments to the cooks, they were slammed but still got my order out in a timely manner. My favorite dairy queen to go to!“

Edit: I went for my blizzard fix at about 6pm March 20 not knowing it was free cone day. The drive through line was so long there were 5 cars lined up on Thousand Oaks just waiting to be rear ended omg people are crazy! 🤣🤣“
“Dairy Queen is a staple in Texas! This is our go to for dessert, as well as dining! There is ALWAYS a wait in the drive thru, but it's worth it! On this particular visit, we just ordered two blizzards. After we drove away, my son said his tasted"different". When we got home we looked at it, and it was incorrect. So next time we will make sure to check it before we leave. Other than that, we LOVE DQ , and will continue to visit this location on SE Military Dr, by Presa St.

“This DQ location, on FM 78, makes one of the best "bacon burgers" in town. Howdy, y'all! You have to give this burger a try! And guess what?? The bacon is real, y'all! Ha! Nice crispy, real slices of bacon. I order mine without the cheese, but either way, with or without cheese, it's still a great burger! And, the staff are personable, kind, and courteous!! Woo Hoo! “The best burger i have had from dairy queen. Darren Rew was the guy that was working the grill and something about the way he cooked it made it taste so much better then other dq's i been to. I think he sould train other cooks how he made it. Give him a raise.“
“Had a good experience with this location. We ordered both food (tacos) ? and desserts.? We had a somewhat extended wait for our order but finally received it made fresh to order about 15 minutes later.The people were friendly enough and all in all a pleasant experience. I would certainly agree in returning to this location again.“
“DQ. Its Texas. Just went in to get the blizzard. Can't get away from the turtle one with the caramel and pecans. Great as always. The young lady behind the counter was amazing. Very friendly. And of course while we were there we said let's try one of those Reaper tacos. We just got one to split. And we both said yeah we'll be coming back for that. Very good.“
“Went in around 915pm on 01/30/25 close to closing time and dined in, i figured most restaurants around closing time you don't get great service but this was by far the best service i have ever had in my lifetime, the presentation of the food and temperature was exceptional the staff was very friendly, this location is by far the best, the crew you had that evening was the best!!!!“
“Pretty good in terms of food pretty good atmosphere but sometimes ominously silent but it is very peaceful and nice they also know how to get your meal correctly and properly with strangely good precision they do know your preferences just enough to not stress too much 💗💗 very good reaper Taco seasoning and other Tacos and burgers their not fully authentic but they are good“
“This Dairy Queen has been on point. I am so glad we stopped by last week that we had to come back today. The service has been friendly the inside was extremely clean. John helped us and was great and friendly. This is not the closest dairy queen to us but we will be making the drive more often. Thank you!“
“Really this location is the best, the staff are so friendly never rude service. Probably out of any fast food restaurants I have ever had, and that's a lot 😂 lol the by far cleanest tasting fried foods by far. Also the restaurant as well as the restroom is the cleanest I ever see, especially for it being on the west side!! Hands down would recommend this Dairy Queen any day.“
