Awesome cupcakes and great stuff

I walked into Dario Arellano’s bakery before heading to a client meeting at Toyota, hoping to grab a small treats for my clients. What I found absolutely blew me away. These are not just cupcakes they are edible works of art. The attention to detail, the creativity in design, and the balance of flavors make them some of the most beautiful and delicious cupcakes and aim from NYC!
On top of that, the staff was warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. This is one of those “if you know, you know” gems, but I hope by sharing this review more people discover Dario’s talent. He deserves all the recognition and growth that comes his way.

If you’re anywhere near this bakery, do yourself a favor stop in. You will be blown away by the craftsmanship, the flavors, and the quality. Truly unforgettable!

Dario's Bakery made my birthday absolutely unforgettable! The cake was gorgeous—a true showstopper. Everyone at the party couldn’t stop talking about how stunning it looked, and months later, they’re still raving about how delicious it was. I just gave them the address, and the cake was delivered right on time without me having to stress about a thing. Exceptional service and even better cake—highly recommend!

I ordered a cake for my daughter’s Sweet 16, and while the cake itself tasted great and was beautifully made, the color was not what we had requested. We were asked to specify our preferred colors and even submitted a photo of her dress for reference.

Although we never met Dario—which was completely fine—the assistant who helped us was quite rude. When I mentioned at delivery that the color was incorrect (sage was requested), she said she was confused between the requested color and the one in the photo. She claimed she tried to call me the day of the event and the call just did not go through. She did not try to call back, leave a voicemail, or send a text. Given that all other calls and messages came through that day, I found this explanation frustrating.

What upset me most was not the mistake itself, but how it was handled. Rather than apologizing or taking accountability, she argued with me and tried to justify the miscommunication—just two hours before the party started. She did offer to redo the cake, but at that point, it would have caused even more disruption.

That day was so hectic and my phone was ringing off the hook. I had people in from out of town, people asking for a copy of the invitation since they misplaced theirs, all the while making sure my daughter’s special day ran smoothly. I don’t doubt that maybe the call didn’t go through, however, maybe don’t try to guess the color the day of or leave a voicemail, send a message, or call back. Don’t argue with your paying customer at delivery especially with other people around. I was very upset for several hours and I should not have been. I should been able to be in the moment with my daughter and guests.

I’m writing this review not because of the color issue or the taste of the cake, but because of the poor customer service and lack of communication. A simple apology would have gone a long way. I haven’t heard from Dario regarding the issue, which is also disappointing. Again, the cake was good—it’s the service that fell short.

I went to a wedding this past weekend and I haven't stopped thinking about the wedding cake from Darios! It was delicious and beautiful!

Baby Shower Cake was not only exactly the way we wanted it was delicious, We also tried 2 different cupcakes while we waited for the cake to be boxed and they were amazing, TY Dario and staff
