I have eaten at Tip Top since the early 70s with family and friends. The chicken fried steak is my pick for the best in San Antonio. The same applies to their French fries, gravy, onion rings, cornbread, hamburgers, and iced tea.

I can’t believe I’ve never been here before! I had heard about it from TV and loved the atmosphere. It was like stepping into the past. There was a jukebox box and a lot of memorabilia. The food was amazing! I could have filled up on their cornbread and B Mac n cheese alone. I leaned that everything is made fresh that nothing is precooked. I met the lady who made the cornbread and she is so sweet and gave great recommendations and service. The restaurant manager was also very...

Cutlet was delicious. Definitely a plate that can be shared.
Onion rings 1/2 order was too much for us to handle.
We will return.
